Technically, goombas and cheep cheeps both attack you by biting even if the graphics aren’t visible so many of these challenges could have been much shorter

Even if they were intended to bite, I would say it's fair to not count any instance where we don't visibly see it because it would not be very fun to have an entire video of "Oh, he gets bitten from the first enemy? Because the developers said so? How cool!" With that said, Wonder absolutely shows Goombas biting so Nico could've beaten the challenge on the first level.

@@spicyguacamole9000 I guess that makes sense, otherwise it would be the same video as the touching Goombas one, since Goombas are the first enemy you see in pretty much every single game. Wonder is still fair game though, because Nintendo animated the Goombas to bite you. I guess they kinda open their mouths a little bit when they bonk into you in 3D World as well, I think.

That cataquack is definitely not biting you. They use their beaks to fling you. Also in Wonder, the goombas actually DO bite in their animation.

Goomba's attack by biting Mario. I know it isn't actually seen in most games until Super Mario Bros Wonder but they do in previous games too. It's just graphical limitations at the time that didn't show you.

Super Mario Wonder could have been quicker, In the hit animation for the Goomba, the Goomba actually DOES bite Mario, So that game could have been in the first level.
