Teacher Mike 麦克老师 Edison chen is super dope on English. He was born in HK then moved to LA, I really like his pronunciation kinda so-cal accent? Plus, I really love your English videos,appreciate what you have been doing 😊😊teacher mike

Jack Ma is the only one in mainland China, I think.
His English is really good and you can definitely comprehend everything that he is saying! That's awesome! I really admire people who can speak different languages so fluently!
Kris 的 English intonation 英語聲調很好,所以聽起來像native speaker. 只是對一個native speaker 來說,又很容易抓到了他的tense 和plural 的錯誤。這樣説吧,對一個non native speaker, Kris speaks well, but to a native speaker, he may sound uneducated.

Native speakers use the incorrect tense all the time, it's stylistic. I think it actually makes him sound more native and lends to his hip hop vibe. Hip hop artists usually use a lot of slang and stylistic speech.

Chris Wu and I have the same situation, my pronunciation is not bad but I always make grammar mistakes. Sometimes I do realize I just made a grammar mistake but it’s just too late to make up for it. After watching this video I realize maybe it’s not that important. Thanks a lot sir!

I always say that the ability to communicate is the most important. If you can do that without problems then you can fix your pronunciation and grammar with time.
@misslijen5 жыл бұрын
Yes that's right, i think the most important is we can communicate and understand very well each other. Grammar etc it's like a formal course in such kind of school's course.

Yeah...it's okay! Many native speakers don't speak with correct grammar... unless we are in an interview lol

Dude, "swag" is a hip-hop word meaning that cool, if not cocky, aura rappers try to possess, a definition you'll never find in conventional dictionaries!
I feel like, I was like , we were like , kinda a little “cheating “ when u cannot recall the right words at some points. But it’s so useful that tons of natives speak this way.
damn! ur chinese is better than mine 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 i was born overseas (another Asian country) then i lived in australia for so long... lol.... i speak 4 languages lol... sometimes when i speak english, i also have my own accent mixed with American and Australian accents 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That can't be said wrong because he uses a Canadian accent and we don't know how to speak there because every country has their own words

Having listened to about 75,000 Americans, i would say he sounds like a foreigner with a “rap accent”. And i think that is the part that hides his foreign accent. He sounds like a kid that listens to a lot of pop music here in the USA

@@maikelaoshi lol It really isn't words it's more like mixing English and Spanish words in a sentence lol!! Like I'm going para la casa! Or aye no you see estava pero bien hot afuera! Have you seen la pelicula en the movie theater ayer! We Mexican, Americans like to mix it up! Lol!!
In 9:29 I think he's trying to say "If I'd be able to break through this market", I don't think that's a mistake. You can say either "if I am able" or "if I'd be able", both should be correct.
Kris is a real national star,but Chinese people do not realize and try to drive him away

当你到了一个国家你的语言学习肯定会来的比较吃力so what to do 学习努力是就好的办法!好像我们马来西亚的外劳尼泊尔一样他们第一年第二年有点听说都不太会但是进入第三年后他们学习语言表达方式都比我们马来西亚华人来的快好凖
