Loving the gameplay! Small thing I noticed- at 3:50, mana crypt and mana vault triggers don’t need to be stacked, as mana crypt triggers during the upkeep and mana vault doesn’t trigger until the draw step.

He needed to see, if the Crypt flip was a win or lose. If he lost it, he wouldn't have access to colored mana from the talisman - which would result in him having one less U or B. Given this he would have to pay 4 colorless, which could in turn thwart his plans. Pretty damn amazing really :)

There's actually two Mana Vault triggers. One is to untap in the upkeep, the damage trigger exists in the draw step. Thanks for watching!

When you cast deflecting swat, you do not have to announce targets. Once you announce targets, deflecting swat has already resolved.

Lowkey this game just inspired me to proxy-up and play this deck, it looks sick as hell when you're able to combo off as hard as it did here. Easy gameplan to understand but lots of room for mastery, absolutely love it. Would you say Rog/Silas is beginner friendly as a combo deck in cEDH tho?

The year is 20XX. Everyone plays Rog Silas Grixis piles to perfection. Because of this, the winner of a match depends solely on turn order. The dice roll for turn order metagame has evolved to ridiculous levels due to it being the only remaining factor to decide matches. Humanity has reached its pinnacle. The low tier peasants are living in poverty. It seems nothing can stop the great leader of 20XX, Bryant "Cookie Monster" Cook, and his army, the Rograkh monks who live in great monasteries where they levitate while casting Ad Nauseum with one hand, and winning tournaments with the other. The tournament metagame has gotten to this point where everything is played out to theoretical perfection, so tournament goers role dice for turn order, and that’s the game. The leaders of the anti-20XX movement aim to keep 20XX from coming. These warriors include The Mindsculptors, Team Turn 3, Into the North, and Whimsey for some reason. They are all fighting to keep the apocalypse at bay, the Rog Silas apocalypse. But their efforts are futile. Their silly Ardenn Kraums, Krakashimas, Hulk Piles, and Winconless Stax are no match for Rog Silas, the only viable deck in Competitive Elder Dragon Highlander. Try as you will, but 20XX is coming. Or maybe, it’s already here.
