I have a complicated relationship with Lopunny which is what makes them my favorite normal type pokemon. The weird duality of trickster normal Lopunny and offense snuffer mega Lopunny make its a really interesting pokemon to discuss. It gained great power, but turned to linearity and served an entirely different purpose which makes any new moves Lo gets as the generations goes on are now subject to be viewed by two very very different lenses. So my hope above all else is good bit of both; I greatly enjoy the use of Mega Lopunny and desire more options for it, I also don't want normal Lo to be left without new tricky toys to play with.

I remember how annoying evolving Buneary into Lopunny was. It evolves by leveling up with happiness. Yet, the thing clearly started with no happiness and it is an chore to do. Also I love how it dex says that it doesn't like to fight, but when it Mega evolves, it becomes part Fighting type.

Dang that was a great video!! Love how much variety in sets that were highlighted in this episode including Quick Attack instead of Fake Out in gen 7. Never really understood it myself, but I saw it surprisingly frequently at the start of the gen. Not sure if this was a thing, but Lopunny could theoretically work well on a gen 4 Baton Pass team since its fast and gets access to Cosmic Power and I am a little disappointed that it wasn't brought up since only Lunatone and Solrock compete for the honor of Cosmic Power Baton Pass

When I first played diamond, Lopunny was the first Pokémon I caught in the game as buneary, thanks to that I earned a huge bond with this Pokémon and whenever there is a chance to have Lopunny on the team in a game, I try to catch it. Lopunny is one of my favorite Pokémon overall, it's cute, in my opinion also strong, so I didn't complain in the games, but I don't play competetive, so idk how it's there, and thanks to mega evolution, lopunny is op like hell. So I really like Lopunny. Plus it's a Pokémon that looks like a girl, but it can be a boy, I love it ^^

I greatly appreciate such a cutesy pokemon turning in to a terrifying offensive powerhouse. Mega Lopunny was one of the members of the first team I finally got around to doing battle facilities with, even though I have been with the series since its beginning because I was bad at team composition and move sets until somewhat recently. Imagine if it could use Close Combat instead of High Jump Kick and didn't get punished by losing 50% of its health to a Protect/Detect or one of those 10% misses.

The weakness of base form lupunny is a rather easy fix as all you need to do is boost its physical attack to 95 then it can run around with sword dance last resorts and high jump kicks also give it the scrappy ability just for safe keeping

I ran Ice and THunder Punch, Sky Uppercut, and Healing Wish when I tried Mega Lopunny on a team. It worked pretty good. Not sure I'd take the risk with Hi Jump Kick tho.

Mega Lopunny gonna be jacked if Megas come back. Scrappy now ignores Intimidate, it got Mega Kick, Close Combat and U-Turn. Hell, you can use Triple Axel if you *really* want too.

I beat my brother's Groudon using a Lopunny. It missed my Lopunny with a solar beam (Lopunny had something to make solar beam miss 5% of the time). I then had it use sky uppercut (yes, I bred it to have the move) on the legendary.
