I have been subscribed for awhile. Worked on my very first panel... with my skill level i was able to bring it back to about 60-70% right. The light tap downs is the hardest part, after 8hours i gave up. we put a decal over it, between the decal and the white paint it is almost unnoticeable. Watching your videos over the past half a year before trying this helped! Thank-you

We had a gentleman do our PDR knowing it was impossible to achieve cosmetic perfection because it was a huge long dent that pulled away from a chrome trim piece and also crossed over a design edge where it was bulged above. There was a second smaller one on the other side of the chrome piece at the corner of it and again that’s impossible to fix without removing parts and paint..etc. we got $900+ quotes but decided to live with any minor imperfections from trying to save money. He did it in less than 2 hours for $100. Impressed with what he accomplished given he was working in the hot sun high humidity and had to deal with all those challenges. It’s still got some high/low dimples from the work but we are happy with it because we are happy to slap a decal after doing some wet sanding. It’s just not worth doing more sometimes.

I always find these videos very fascinating. And indeed this takes skill I got some PDR equipment and tried it on my old hail dented car. While I managed to do some good I could not get it to perfection. This is definitely a skilled art! I envy your work.

Heck yeah. 👍 That means it has now become instinct.. but for newbies, it’s extremely difficult because tapping down sets up the clean pushing and glue pulling.
