This was a beautiful moment for me: my grandparents were local “parents” for Fr Liam Horsfall, DVM (from Australia) while at Techney Seminary in the Chicago area. He went on to serve for many years in Papua New Guinea for many years before retiring to Brisbane. I love our Universal Church and how the media brings us closer!

This was superb. I would be crying also. To be so thoroughly welcomed in God’s name when on previous occasions being so criticized would be thoroughly healing. God bless this country. And to hear that their national constitution is based on the Catholic social teachings is overwhelming. What a gift. And a couple of people who founded this constitution are alive & among them. What an absolute treasure to this young Catholic speaker. What an affirmation for the rest of his life. God bless this country. I hope & pray that with a majority of the citizens being Protestant that this country will grow in the richness of the Catholic Faith. The Church authority really celebrated the gifted- ness, richness of faith & hope in this young man. It was like being at world youth day that is going on in Lisbon, Portugal today. This country’s faith journey was not formed out of Luther’s Reformation with all its errors. It was formed out of the whole truth of the Catholic Church as Jesus meant it to be. May God bless everyone involved in this very special event & May the Holy Spirit open all hearts amongs the Protestants in Papua New Guani to the all-embracing love of God & help them to see & know in their whole being the value of accepting the whole truth that the Catholic Church has to offer. God bless you for sharing this special day. It gives us hope around the world, especially in Canada.

😂 Sounds like an awesome country. I did some research, most languages in the world and a Martyr catechist during WWII Blessed Peter Torot who was put to death by lethal injection byJapanese authorities who took over the island. His crime celebrating Mass and other rites. All the Catholic clergy/religious were put into camps, his priest told catechist Peter "it's up to you to celebrate the rites".

What you guys don't understand is that since the founding of the church, no knowledgeable catholic speaker has come to us to speak in this depth about the Catholic faith. To us, this was like one of the 12 Apsotles coming out to our end of the world. We adore the catholic church, we don't take it lightly and we don't play around with it.🙏🏾🇵🇬
