A year ago, no one would have looked at Gardner Burg and thought, ‘That guy really needs to get in better shape.’ But under the surface things were rough. Something had to change. And that's when he found our Elements program. This is his story.

Wow, this inspired me to get back on track with my movement. I’ve been watching GMB for a while now, knowing that I want to try it but haven’t committed. Watching and listening to him just gave me the jolt I need to do this for real this time. At 30, lately I’ve been noticing very slight changes in my movement abilities and it’s scary when being so active through my childhood, teen and young adult years. Nevertheless, I’m gonna give myself a real shot with Elements to improve myself for not just fitness but simple well-being when it comes to moving in life! 👍🏾💯💗✨

Absolutely solidifies my desire to get elements when I get some spending cash. I'm so looking forward to it. Thankfully, Ryan provides so much dynamite information here and on the website to get me started. I can't wait to show my appreciation more directly!

Longtime fan and user of Elements and other programs. That guy in the vid provides incredible insights through his introspection, all of which I can vouch for in my experience with GMB programs. Thanks for R1, R2, Elements and all the great articles.

Yes, introspection isn't "sexy" in a fitness context, but it's so key for making continual progress.

I love quadruple movements (movement on all fours). It is a full body workout for sure 😁

I plan on doing a 5x5 routine 2x/Wk (Mon/Thu). Can I use Elements as a means for Active Recovery (Tue/Fri) or will be too much? I’m a beginner in weightlifting but I deliver roofing shingles for a living.

Elements would be great for that, and I know other lifters do this for sure. You may need to decrease the locomotion time according to your recovery ability, something that you'll suss out pretty quickly I think!

I have GMB Elements and I was wondering if Gardner was doing the 30 or 45 minute sessions on Praxis?

I'm pretty sure he started using Elements in the pre-Praxis days. The full case study linked in the description might say more about how much time he spent.

I have to say that these movements look very narrowly oriented. Its just a bunch of deep squatting and walking on your hands.

It's about quality of movement, a mindset shift, and smart progressions/programming. The goal is to build strength, flexibility, and motor control all in one program. When you move better, you feel better; when you get quiet enough, the body talks; you will cultivate greater awareness and control of your body through this practice. Interestingly, a lot of strength just comes from increased motor control rather than an increase in muscle fibers anyway...even if you are bodybuilding traditionally.
