The moral of this story. Cars are expensive, I would recommend you to live in city where you don't need or want a car. But that means moving to a another country because US doesn't have such cities (only with a few exceptions). I have a 2015 Mazda CX-5 and love it. I have about 4 payments left. I bought it in 2018 after someone turned in a lease. She drove it about 22,000 miles and I talked them down to 18,900. They wanted $1,000 more and I started to walk out because I had a pre-approval for 17,000 and was putting down 2,000. So with tax and etc, I couldn’t go higher. The minute I got out of my seat, the guy said, wait, let me talk to the manager. I bought the car before they even cleaned or did the check on it because it was in such great condition. I love it and the sunroof. I even haul my tiny travel trailer with it. I’ve even car camped in it.

People get banned, lose access to accounts, get hacked, reported, etc so you have to have multiple bigger streams of income coming in to make sure you're protected.
