I filmed this at a college library and @ 1:47 a kid had overheard me and was apparently pretty upset with the things I was saying (I think specifically about how being fatter than 12% body fat wasn’t “in shape.”) Obviously this is subjective as we all have different opinions of what ‘being in shape’ actually is. "My name is Patrick Bateman. I’m 27 years old. I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I’ll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion. There is an idea of a Patrick Bateman, some kind of abstraction, but there is no real me, only an entity, something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours, and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable, I simply am not there."

I rarely leave comments on videos but I feel like this needs to be said. Whilst the diet may have worked to clean Dylan’s acne, it is not as simple as removing sugar and diary. I have tried this for over a month religiously without fail. I continued to break out. It is genetic for most people . If you get the odd spot it may be diet related but it’s not causing you to have severe acne like I do. This is why it’s so hard to combat acne and I recommend getting on antibiotics as soon as possible to help fight P.acne bacteria. Secondly, who cares about your eyebrows moving. Expressions are there for a reason. Don’t go around keeping a still face to look cool because you just end up looking unapproachable and a bit like a douche. Just be yourself, eat healthy and do the grooming properly and you’ll be fine!

For acne in particular, try avoiding seed oils. They're often marketed as "vegetable" oils and are cooked into a lot of prepackaged foods like chips and pretzels as well as condiments like mayonaise. Good lipids ("fats") are good, though: butter, beef tallow, lard, olive oil, coconut oil, whole milk, avocados, etc. Eating a moderate amount of those will help reduce cravings for junk. Learn how to saute / stir-fry. General/overall mantra: * Prioritize Protein (meats, beans, legumes, nuts) * don't Fear Fats (see above) * Cut Carbs (bread, cereal, pasta, sugar) In addition to that caloric alliteration, I'd also plug plenty of fiber, vegg + fruit, for the vitamins and minerals. You can't digest non-soluable fiber directly, but the little friends who live in your gut can. Feed them. Get plenty of water, sleep and outdoor sun exposure.

This. Everyone says "just wash your face bro" which is incredibly annoying if you're already doing that twice a day. Although cutting out sugar has definitely helped me, you're absolutely right. When I first tried to just cut out dairy, nothing changed. The no sugar diet improved my skin, and when I took a skin-thinning cream for my face (Duac Acne Gel is the German product name) it really improved. Overall I would say it's both the sugar free diet and the cream, but it's different for everybody. And if none of that works, you can always try Accutane. People on the internet will always claim that you will spontaneously combust or some other crazy side effects of you take it, but the chances of that happening are pretty low and your dermatologist would immediately stop the procedure once any side effects more severe than dry lips would show up.

Look Dylan, all the looksmaxing is nice and all but you know what is also attractive? A good Character. The advice was fine until you started talking about going as far as forcing yourself to be expressionless for symmetry at 5:15 saying it improves your emotion and demeanor when in fact it does the exact opposite and make you look like a robot. That one second you moved your eyebrows was natural and showed your character. Beauty comes from health mentally and physically, and forcing your natural face is the opposite of natural healthy beauty and shows no character. Also you forgot about probably the most simple natural thing, trimming and shaping your eyebrows, there’s no point in putting them up if they are still bushy and ungroomed. Also being fit has nothing to do with bodyfat, it’s to do with a healthy cardio… it seems with this mentality of yours your confidence will leave you if you ever have goals like bulking again and your face becomes a bit fatter. Look’s maxing isn’t only physical, do it mentally aswell. Also symmetry is fixed by mewing and balancing your palate and other problems like tmj or uneven teeth, not by flexing your face muscles constantly.
@JoaquinMendana Жыл бұрын
Totally agree. Obsessing this much over this shit is not healthy nor attractive and when you hear dylan talk he doesn't show emotion and seems unexpressive and boring. Like you would hang out with him and he'd be constantly talking with a monotone voice about minoxidil.

All the comments under looksmaxxing videos are either "youre perfect just the way you are bro stop obsessing bro youre being insecure bro" or "looksmaxxing is cope if youre under 6'2 and not white its over"

this is why you should only follow advice that gives you RESULTS. sitting around coping with "oh a woman will love you for who you are" doesn't guarantee any results and rarely ever do. I didn't start seeing results until i started to looksmax.

The #1 most important thing you can do for your skincare routine is to actually wear sunscreen everyday.

I agree with this and I was really late on this one. I realised that damn near 90% of the damage to my face was caused by sun exposure 🤦🏾♂️

If you eat junk yes, if you eat natural your skin actually benefits from moderate sun exposure

hey as a hot woman I can assure you that I dont look for a narc or someone who spends hours staring at themselves online or in a mirror all day. The KEY to being attractive is confidence...that comes with achievement or intelligence. Try reading a book maybe?

1) you took steroids such as Anavar, Drostanolone and Testosterone - it helps really well. 2) You took lypolytics such as Cardarine - with steroids it makes you leaner and add more endurance. 3) You probably took HGH (human growth hormone) or Ibutamoren (HGH booster) to improve the state of your skin, joints and additionally lower your body fat. These 3 things would really help you, the one who reads it.

even though this video seems directed at men i actually found many of your tips super helpful. many female beauty influencers recommend expensive products and sometimes forget about the basics. for example the weight loss /diet aspect can be a touchy subject for women and it's not often talked about in a straight forward way. hearing you say it so simply (cut out dairy + cut out sugar= better skin) felt like just what i needed to hear right now. thank you.

I'm a fan of looksmaxxing and so on but bro I dont know about the pic at 0:09 because in the side to side comparison you look quite different in terms of your jaw and so on. Comes off as insecure to get a jaw pump and try and make it as prominent as possible for a picture. You should watch out not to fall into the deep hole of the black pill where you only care about your features whilst neglecting the character improvement and social skills and finding a goal in life and getting into a relationship and so on. Of course your appearance is a thing to consider and you should definitely be aware of your facial expressions and presenting yourself, but you should not overthink it because if you do, you might not be able to be present since you are distracted by how you look right now. However, overall you should be conscious of your body language and remember to breathe fully through your belly and not have tight body posture which you seemingly have as if you are constantly tightening your abs or something like that. That comes off as if you are trying to hold a shit in. That comes off as nervous somehow, instead you wanna take up space and look relaxed. Smooth rather than stiff. But overall, I am glad that you got into self-improvement. I remember when you made videos where you were very depressed and so on and I remember that I recommended Hamza's channel to you and so on. Even if you never read my comment, your transformation feels like I had a positive influence on that. Great thing bro. Also I find the point about the eyebrows interesting since I have never heard of that and I personally have always been a guy whose eyebrows moved a lot. I might want to pay attention to keep them calm. Thanks
