Love your vids but have a question... I play sport/gym 5-6 times a week and get really sweaty in my head so have to wet it daily. When I wasn't working from home that meant 2 showers a day. My hair is getting longer but the curls aren't defined and my twist outs last maybe 2 days looking nice. Anyone got any tips on what would help?

Its okay to wet your hair daily in the shower between wash days just make sure to use cool/lukewarm water if you rinse your hair in the shower to preserve oils and dont use any shampoo only on wash days

Makayla Ali Try an Aloe Vera pre poo and then a moisturizing deep conditioner. And then a light oil after it dries.

I have a question about my wash routine. I take a shower every morning before I go to school, and I was wondering if I should wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner every day. If not, what should I do to get my hair looking presentable because right now I have a really frizzy mid-afro and I'm planning on using the steps from your defined curls video but the only thing stopping me is the question of what to do as a daily shower routine.

Wash your hair 2 times a week because every day will dry out your hair it happened to me and it can't be fixed. I recommend a spray bottle for when it's kinda frizzy just spray Abita of water on it. Don't dry it with a towel cause it will make it frizzy let it air-dry. Do what he does put a bad over your hair on the days you don't wash it that's pretty much it

@Danzo Easy solution. If you want to keep it simple. Get a curl cream by Shea Moisture or Cantu. And then a gel on top try Eco Styler or Wetline. If you want extra moisture add an oil in between.

Hey koby, don't you think that the plastic bag would allow the heat of your head to open the cuticle of your hair ? Also I know that oils are good for sealing, add shine and nourish but do they really moisturize though? Tbh it kinda rubbed me the wrong way but other than that the video was great keep that up ✊🏾🔥

The plastic bag is actually a good thing. It keeps excess moisture out but allows just enough for the strands to waken up but not lose the curl. As far as oil. It would prob be better to start w a refreshing spray(the mane choice) then maybe a light cream/oil to seal. Oils can be moisturizing but better for scalp when applied directly. As far as strands it’s better to seal w the oil. To each his own tho.

Oils do not moisturize hair. They only seal moisture. Products with water as a base ingredient moisturize hair.

Tbh your hair isn’t gonna shake while dry until it gets a certain length. However, sometimes even with length our hair is still stiff. So, just give your hair time and then see what it does.
