Ok memories,, I worked in an adult care home for challenged men, the boss told me you’ll have a big problem making them shower.. I thought ok I can fix that, I told them ok get your towels boys, and played this song all the way to the showers singing this.. those kids were dancing all the way using the towels as butt scooters. Saw George and the Destroyers in Milwaukee at a Harley rally in 2001. Played non stop for almost 2 hours, never took a break, just absolutely rocked the stage one song after another! Absolutely amazing show. It was so awesome in fact, that when they stopped playing so the rally could fly Old Glory and play the national anthem, that they had to walk off the stage so people would stop cheering so we could hear the anthem. Total respect, you could see them all behind the stage representing the flag, they just couldn't do it on stage because the crowd just wanted more!

This song brings back a very great memory. Me and some friends were at one of the many bars that we frequented back in those days, about 30 years ago. I was playing pool with a guy and this song came on the jukebox. I proceeded to clear the table sinking every ball on the table one by one with out a miss. I was even calling every shot and some of them were pretty hard, bank shots as too. I had a nice buzz going on as well. One of those perfect moments in ones lifetime. Oh how I miss my youth.

Bo Diddley wrote this song, and the original music video for George's version was a pool game between George and Bo. Also, check out the live version by The Doors (their concert opener too). I saw George open for The Steve Miller Band, for my last concert in the 20th century. He was actually better than Steve Miller, if you can believe it.
