I'm a physio by trade, need to practice what I preach. With that said, posture doesn't cause pain. But it can be a sign of underlying weakness or rom deficits which can be addressed 👍🏻

I think it's a good idea to start with bands instead of an actual rolling stick, for those that don't have the flexibility to extend their arms behind their back, you get to control the amount of tension, and gradually become more flexible.

Totally random but not so random thing I notice about you Daniel is, how long you have that Garmin watch Resisting the urge to hop on whoop, Apple, newer watch and whatnot somehow feels like an analogy to your genuine consistent no nonsense approach! In general (as somebody who is working in that field) you guys likely have no idea the sponsors Daniel likely already has rejected to stay true to his path , a fucking LEGEND that man is (national treasure on Vegemite level) 😂 LOVE IT!

Hi Daniel! I am a long time sub to your channel. I am struggling with the dislocates and unable to make the transition. I can elevate but not retract my shoulders during elevation? I am using a broom stick at the max width? Any ideas why I can’t do it please?
@ILoveWeightedPullups14 күн бұрын
Great video, question though. What do you do if only one shoulder is rounded? Have my right shoulder higher than my left and rolled forward. Lower trap exercises temporarily get them even.

You got any good exercises for re-strengthening your abs after umbilical hernia surgery? It's been over 2 yrs and I have no idea how it gets unpleasant, hurts and scar tissue sets in when I try to exercise and train my abs. Kinda frustrating.
@TerenceChiII6 күн бұрын
When I had shoulder pain for years from overstraining it with work and handstands, I was told by a doctor to "just stop doing physical activity above shoulder height". I regained painlessness and mobility from the first exercise. You can also use a towel if you don't have a long enough stick at hand.

@tof77459 күн бұрын
I think he dont give us more information on reps/sets/frequency because if he do, buying his mobility program would be useless. Personaly, i would do 3 sets of ~10 reps/20-30seconds for each exercice with 30-60seconds of rest

@byoken15 күн бұрын
I haven't watched the whole video yet, but I would say it has a lot to do with muscles on your back, neck etc tightening and shortening overtime. Pulling and pushing exercises alone can't solve the problem. You'd need to incorporate stretching exercising. Lower back pain for example, could be caused by tight hamstrings, so regularly stretching hamstrings could potentially resolve lower back pain issues with time. Incorporate a stretching routine, you'll see an improvement in range of motion and strength as well.
