How I fixed this Chrysler 300 5.7L Hemi V8 Stall out car. Bad Hesitation, P0300, P0430 Cam Sensor.

I rebuilt one of these, I took all the wires off as an assembly thinking it would just go back in the right orientation, not even close, had to take them all apart and run everything correctly. I was super happy, very easy engine to work on, love the ohv

Hope the other techs diagnosis was correct and the job went for you. Nice explanation of how some of the systems work together. You will have to explain one day why you would not flash a higher mileage vehicle. (i would like to know what benefits to doing it to a lower mileage but not higher.) Have a great day J.T.!

There's a tsb for that p1521, asks for a flash update, and they're are a lot of programming tsb's #18-018-06 engine controls-MIL on DTC'S P2112 or P1251

Whats up JT. If you ever come across broken exhaust manifold bolts on a wk1 JGC, I would love to see your wisdom knock them out. I 'm not seeing an easy/easier way to replace them.

Guys usually (on other vehicles) weld a nut on the broken bolt and heat and turn. Probably will break the weld many times as you do it. I don't know of another way. A good muffler shop might be able to do it for you, or some small mom and pop shop. Dealer could do it too. Do you own a welder?

@@unclemarksdiyauto thanks buddy. I haven't tried to get in there yet, i just don't see the space available, like the Ram trucks have. There is literally no room to get to the bolts. I saw one guys said he lifted the engine, I'm not that advanced. Lol

Wow buddy, the WK body JGC came with 3 different engine options..Out of all 3 I have yet to deal with such a problem. They been holding up well. You will have space issues if its equipped with the V8 Hemi..I have yet to do one bud, sorry

My 300C 2006 v8 won’t respond the alternator was changed and the ecu was changed also fuel pump. I tried jumping it but it won’t catch , it makes this weird grunt noise .Do you think it’s my battery?

My dude, on my 5 mile test drive it pearled like a kitten. But techs cant spend a lot of time driving so I put a porter in it to drive about 30 miles in stop and go traffic. Upon his return, the verdict was no stalling and I re-scanned with the pod and theres no codes. I forgot to mention I did a cam/crank relearn since these 2 sensors was replaced

Hey man I’m hoping I can get a response could really use a mechanics advice. I have a 06 300c it’s the 5.7 an I’m getting a code for p0300. I just bought it. It would stall out after I turned it on after about 30 sec - 1 min. Immediately stalls when going I. Gear. So I went ahead changed the coil packs an the spark plugs an ran a little sea foam thru it. It would start an drive fine after that. I got cats to put on it and I put the passenger side one on an couldn’t get the driver side on due to stripped bolds on the mount. But I started it up after I got passenger side on a now it’ll start an run fine but when u put it into gear it stalls again. Is it because there’s only 1 cat on? Need advice!!!!

. You need fuel, spark,air, compression. Sounds like yours is stalling out due to lack of air. Could be dirty filter all the way to a bad throttle body sensor.

Hey i have in 06 Chrysler 300 5.7 engine, my car is missfiring codes p0201 p0205 , ive gotten replaced the spark plugs, fuel injectors and i also gt my pcm reprogrammed and it still throws the same codes,, not sure what to do at this point..

Hey bud, a flashed PCM will not correct say a driver problem in the PCM. Was there any other codes on the PCM? Also are you subscribed to the channel?
