So even though I pointed to it at the end of the video, Toei took down part 1 of my DBZ dubs video yesterday and it was too late for me to change the video. I plan on reuploading it next week combined with the 2nd part with slight editing to hopefully get by the claim. For now you can view it via my Archive upload! archive.org/details/DBZdubs

The revenge of cooler/Greatest rivals movie aired in Philippines in ABS-CBN(channel 2) aired in sunday evening at 9:00 pm( if I remember it correctly). The movie was my introduction to Dragonball. After this movie, another local network in RPN 9 aired Dragonball Z and later the OG dragonball. Z aired during sunday afternoon and dragonball was weekdays afternoon. Both series went into hiatus and then GMA 7 picks it up. It would air dragonball and Dragonball Z weekdays on prime time schedule. Z would immediately start on namek saga. It was weird cause I only know Goku as a grown up. So when I saw kid goku, I thought he's a separate character. @14:33 I remember that movie, it was bundled with Yuyu Hakusho ova, The golden seal(Ghost fighter in Philippines)

Interesting sidenote, at least to me, when I first made my custom Yu-Gi-Oh! deck, the 12 Devas, and made my first video for KZbin showcasing it 12 years ago now (man, I'm old...), most, if not all, the images I used for the art I uploaded onto Card Maker for the proxies was from the Philippines dub of Digimon Tamers that I found and scoured through here on KZbin! I have no idea if any of the episodes are still up, though, it'd be interesting to revisit, mind!

Question about the English dubs: So there are 2 versions of dbz that the voices and script are the same, only differences are the Bruce Falconer score on one of them and the other has a different one. I also found that toonami on cartoon network aired the ocean dub during the boo saga? But I thought the ocean only did their dub up to some point in the saiyan saga?
@FumeiComTV2 жыл бұрын
Later DVD releases put the Japanese music over the Funimation dub, those Toonami Boo saga recordings are from Toonami UK, Toonami in the US only aired the Funimation produced Ocean dub that goes up to Goku confronting the Ginyu Force
