Well done! Great explanation!! But some of the F20/F21's had spec'able engines.. You can get the 116i with an N13 or B38. You can get the 120i with an N13 or B48. The same B48 engine is used in the older M125 and 125i.. So it can vary. I have a 120i with the B48 stock, and you are still getting more out of the 114i N13! So well done!

I had my 2018 F31 320i tuned at BR-Performance with desirable results. A measured 182 hp and 263 Nm turned into 292 hp and 485 Nm, from stage 1 only. It seemed too much but they reassured me that I won't see any problems if I stick to the rules (only 98 at the gas station and get that oil nice & warm before hitting it).

Got my 114i tuned start of March and only got 200hp / 280nm but the biggest plus is there’s pretty much no turbo lag since the tune when I’m in sport and my car now runs 1,5 km longer per liter even tho I drive more “playful” now

Thanks mate, the 114i is not delivered with an automatic. You will need to get a 116i than. I think you can get a clean one for around €12000

Be careful guys, while the engine block itself is the same, everything around it is not. The turbo is different, the coolers are different (114i might even have no oil cooler), cylinder heads are different (different alloy to withstand more heat in the higher models like 120i) and so on.

That's not true, the only thing that is different is the exhaust downpipe and the oil dispatcher

@@bimmerbelgium2254 I got that info from someone who works at bmw at the workshops. You might be lucky and have better parts, but then they might have been exchanged by bmw, because the replacements have the better quality to minimize storage cost. That´s at least what they say.

I got an amazing offer from a professional mechanic (tuning, repair, chip tuning) that stays in contact with one of my friends and he told me that he would give my 116i F20 (136 HP) a stage 2 tuning for only 500€! That would be more than half the price of the actual costs. And my car would have around 220 HP. What would I have to look for if I would do it? You once told me in my other comment that would have to warm up my engine everytime, right? I really want to do that stage 2 tuning..

Stage 2, so he offers a downpipe and intercooler for €500? Normally stage 1 is 220hp and stage 2 240hp

Dan denk ik dat er iets niet 100% is met je motor. Ga maar is kijken op de site van br. Daar schrijven ze ook voor dat een 114i 220pk kan halen. De mijne is daar trouwens ook gemapped
