Tired of the traditional way that museum tours are given, Nick Gray created his own company of renegade tour guides called Museum Hack. In his talk, Nick explains how these interactive, engaging tours will make you fall in love with museums as you experience them in a completely new way.
Nick Gray loves museums but hates how most museum tours are given. He founded Museum Hack, a company of private tour guides offering unconventional museum tours. Nick has lived in New York City for the past seven years, with his favorite place being the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He is interested in self-improvement and loves hosting dinner and cocktail parties for new friends.
This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at ted.com/tedx

I kinda got goosebumps when he talked about the fragment of a queen's head, it's just so beautiful. I hope I can visit the Met someday..

I love museums and art. But yes, some time it makes your feel tired and sleepy too, often it feels too quite and serious! The way you doing seems much fun! Thank you for sharing.

Do what we did at the Tyler Museum of Art- jump in with both feet, splash around, and see what happens. We started with art appreciation students from the local junior college and went from there.

Got assigned to watch this for an Art Appreciation class and to be fully honest, this guy is the reason people hate art critics/art lovers/ artists. This is what people imagine. The douchey presentation, the smug air of superiority. It's really demeaning. The man is good at business, that's very true, but you can tell he's not a pleasant person to be around. With the way that he openly judges people in his Museum Hack videos for being "Amateurs" for enjoying a museum their way to the overly-wide smile that screams that he's trying to sell you something, it all comes off as disingenuous.

The talk sounds extremely formulated and dramatized to me. But I appreciate the speaker's effort anyway. I believe he'd give better speeches on the fly.
