Ive established a work out routine and diet that is bringing me phenomenal results. I’ve shed 30 lbs. I have a lot more energy, I feel my core getting stronger and overall I feel great. I am 63 and have been weight training since I was 17. I am slim and toned. Weight training is numero uno for strength and toning. I stacked on the weight during menopause and now eat keto like meals... I weigh 60 kilos. Love your videos which totally resonate with my experiences.

Hi Miss Melissa. They used to say when you're 30 you're over the hill but what a beautiful thing to know that you can be strong and healthy in your older years with as you say 1. getting the proper amount of protein 2. training with weights 3. not doing a lot of cardio. What a blessing .I am glad that someone figured out that we do lose some percentage of muscle but there is a way to fix that. Although I'm a little off 40 (I will be 39 October) I still love watching your videos and find a lot of the information applies to me. Same as what you said doing what I did in my 20s doesn't work now and there aren't enough people (especially women) in fitness that I can relate too and understand like you do. I loooove that you took the time to build your legs, which are FABULOUS. Slow and steady wins the race. I need to bulk up overall (4'11", 82 pounds yikes) but it's good for me to know that building takes time (but not too too much time, I'm 50 and just starting out). My next few training blocks will include training those smaller areas more than once a week (and of course proper nutrition). Thank you for sharing your passion, Melissa!

Hi Melissa… i need to say you have literally changed my game!!! I am 53, 5ft 2 and always been around 8.5 - 9.5 stone. I have been in and out of some form of fitness for years, but being completely focused and dedicated for last 7 years. I have done all sorts of cardio, running and got into weights (via body pump at first 🙄) about 3 years ago. But even when at my lowest weight/running a lot previously and even doing weights a couple of times a week I’ve always had layer of body fat. WELL 4 weeks ago i found YOU! I’ve completely changed my workouts (i love weights anyway😍), first time ever tracking my food especially the 1g per 1lb body weight, and ive lost 5.5lb in 7 weeks!!!! I look so lean and have much more muscle definition…. Chuffed is a complete understatement…. I have told two friends about u and they are now doing this too ….. seriously ladies ….. Melissa is ya gurl… to be petite and not actually overweight but still see an absolute huge body transformation in just 7 weeks…. Plus im never hungry in fact i have to force a protein yoghurt down me in the evenings on occasion to get those last few calories in ….it’s incredible…… THANK YOU MELISSA YOU ARE MY NO 1 GURU 😍😍😍😍

I enjoy your videos because my personal trainer is also a bikini bodybuilder and is about to get hip surgery at the end of this month. I am happy you are here to guide me like Madalene does. I also am 58 years old with menopause. I take Maca root for the hot flashes. I exercise 6 days per week. I am working on following your food amounts because I also feel like eating sweets and lots of fruit. I know I need more protein and fiber too along with saturated fat. I feel better when I do Madalene’s total body workout. You both help me so much. I keep my weight down and feel great.

Great video and thanks for being my motivator!! I am in my 2nd week with strength training and healthier eating. Weight has not changed but has stayed stable which is a bummer. I do know muscle weighs more than fat so maybe that is the issue. Other issue is getting in my calories- ughhhh! Did well for the most part. Is there a video on what to expect in the first few weeks pertaining to the scale?

Hi Melissa, I have a couple of questions. Did you always have an athletic shape? I'm asking because I was always plump since I was 10 years old, basically when I started having menstrual periods. After trying to figure out why I always had trouble losing weight, I turned out to be estrogen dominant which makes it very hard to lose weight, even with eating clean, higher protein, hiking, kayaking, and some strength training. Are you familiar with what i can do in order to combat this especially now that I'm in menopause? I'm also on hrt. Thanks.

Honestly, anyone over 35 will have issues with weight loose. I’m 42 now but I noticed that in my mid 30s by metabolism starting changing

I love this lady, I needed to do a reset bottom on my eating habits ( keto, I.F), it has been sooo hard to learn to eat normal again. After washing Melissa's videos, the first time I'm started loosing weight again, eating all the foods I love. Thank you Mellisa for educated us. I'm 53 and I was a mess last year, not any more :)
