This is da bomb! I´m living a very simple quiet and a very boring life but it´s my life and i love it so much. I have become a sort of a stay at home not wanting to go out to meet people person. And it´s the best decision in my life....

Had a bit of a self-awareness moment recently when I had stitches on my scalp and couldn't wash my hair for a whole week. I was so self-conscious about what I looked like and worried about judgement from others. I don't think anyone even particularly noticed and I actually got a genuine compliment on my "new hairstyle." It has made me rethink how much emphasis I place on what I wear etc and reducing my wardrobe a bit more. As the old saying goes: "Those who matter don't mind and those who mind don't matter"

Ive realized how uncomfortable was being in total silence just because only in total silence you can really hear yourself in genuine perception and by doing that its quite painful sometimes but it worth it for me in the end :-) Quoting Virginia Woolf : Mrs Dalloway is always giving parties to cover the silence

I'm new to minimalism and started slowing getting rid of things I don't use but kept them just in case. I have 2 weedwackers just in case. I have 6 blankets just in case. I have 3 space heaters, 2 kerosene heaters but I also have a furnace, but just in case. The More stuff I get rid of the less I feel stressed and weighed down. I'm also making better purchasing decisions. No more Carmel ice latte for 5 bucks a day. Plus I feel so much better when I don't drink it. But the stress of work and having to make a lot of money to support a lifestyle I didn't really like caused me to drink latte as my vice. I have a journey ahead but I look forward to it.

Love your self-awareness about what you might be missing or indulging in unconsciously. I am interested in minimalism , so glad to find you. I always try to sit alone in my breaks at University rather than to stroll around or have some junk snacks or talk to fake people. Just enjoying the moment and appreciating Life, the things which we have, and reminding Myself about meaning of Life is the way to go. P.S: the Break is of 1 hour but still spending Time for Ourselves is greater than with Friends, and Self Analysis is also required to Succeed Life and this 1 Hour is a good enough time to do that. 🔇🔇🔇

Keeping it simple and bringing joy to oneself, not worrying about 'dress to impress', others opinions, makes one's life very peaceful, non-stressful, and more in balance. How old were you when you became full on minimalist, frugal? It's not something that happens overnight for sure.

I also easily indulge myself in things at the beginning, and sometimes I end up wasting unnecessary money. For example, when I like an app, like English leaning apps, most of the time I buy the pro version at the first day using, without taking a care to the fact that maybe I won’t use it next week. That’s a bad habit, and I need to change it.
