How I made this Stunning Tree Frog FULL TUTORIAL

I don’t know how I missed this video Sierra? I’m only seeing it now because Lisa mentioned it in her ‘disposable gloves’ video!! I’ve even had a look thru my notifications and can’t see it there either. But, boy am I glad Lisa said something!! That little guy looks absolutely incredible!! What a brilliant job you did with him! And Lisa’s comment, on her video, is so true… she said your reaction was wholesome, and it is! My word for your reaction to this frog is… PRICELESS. Watching and listening to you really warmed my heart… what you felt, has been felt by most resin artists, at some stage, but seeing it unfold on camera, so natural and real, was just awesome! 💞 A technique I definitely want to try myself… I’ve never even heard of using hand sanitizer?? After writing that last sentence, I went and checked Lisa’s videos, and I found the one where she used this technique. Now, I can see that I had actually watched it when it came out… unfortunately (due to many, many years of a lot of medications), my memory is shocking… and I have no memory of it; So I’ve added it to my queue so I can rewatch it! Just curious, but what does the hand sanitizer do? Beautiful little frog! ❤❤❤

When wet "painting" mica powder onto a silicon mold you would use isopropyl alcohol, this evaporates very fast and causes the mica powder to dry very fast . The hand sanitizer with isopropyl alcohol is used for longer working time, it doesn't evaporate as fast, giving you a much longer working time. The mica powder dries on the mold within a couple of minutes, but remains workable longer in the mixed pot. I hope I'm making sense. Thank you for watching.
