I grind my chebe powder to a super fine consistency. It helps with the grainy issue

@@keiasiakennard5560 Sorry for the delayed response. I use a coffee grinder - if yours has a setting- use the finest setting. It’s should feel like fine dust. I moisturise my hair with chebe-infused leave-in cream (low porosity hair), then apply the powder on the parted section and follow with my hair oil/light grease mix (whichever I fancy at the time).

Understandable, you can always try it without the Chebe. I honestly feel like the consistency in the routine is more important than the Chebe itself.
@jimams_jamz55183 ай бұрын
If you don't want the grains with your chebe mixture, you can grind it, then sift it, then turn it into a butter instead. It works just as well.
@alaysiab3 ай бұрын
You can always let the chebe powder steep in hot oil or melted shea butter and then strain it and mix it with whatever product you like. Or just keep it as a chebe infused oil/butter for a sealant

PRAYERS AND GOALS!!!! YOUR HAIR IS SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL! HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN GROWING IT AND USING CHEBE?
@milami.5 ай бұрын
Thank you 💕 I’ve been taking better care of it since 2017/2018 but I do cut a couple of inches every year. As for Chebe I only used it once consistently. That was for 8 months in 2018 I think. I’ve tried to use it again more recently but it is hard to stay consistent.

Hi, are you using this as a leave in and then styling your hair with the mixture in it? Or as a deep conditioner and then rinsing it out? Also, does the powder eventually dissolve or does it stay gritty?

Do you still use henna as well? I use henna also but I have never tried chebe, I am scared that too much of things will break off my hair. What do you think are they similar? I use henna every 6 weeks, but I am interested in chebe as well. Love your videos.
@milami.9 ай бұрын
I use henna every now and then. I don’t do it too often as it can be a lot of work. I have used henna while using Chebe and haven’t had any issue. I wouldn’t say that they are similar. To me Henna is more of a powder where chebe reminds me of like sand. It is kind of gritty. If I were to used both, I probably would just apply less Chebe on the week that I do henna as they are both hard for me to wash out.

How do you know you are buying the authentic chebe powder where people have brought their from?
@milami.3 ай бұрын
I buy it from Sahel Cosmetics. I believe she was the one of the first people if not the first to speak about it online. She started selling it and that is where I bought mine. I could be wrong but I believe she also sells it in bulk for some of there other companies/people you may see selling it but I’m not 100% sure about that. I’m comfortable buying it from her. I don’t buy it from anywhere else.
