1. Polytechnic institute of Braganca
2. University of Aveiro
3. University of Algarve

List of Documents for students:
1. Birth Certificate ( High court and foreign affairs in the country of origin) plus copies.
2. Criminal certificate ( high court and foreign affairs in the country origin) plus copies.
3. School certificate and transcripts' ( certified by ministry of education before high court and foreign affairs) plus copies.
4. Two recent colored passport photos ( white background).
5. Letter of acceptance from the school in Portugal plus copy.
6. Evidence of accommodation in Portugal pus copy.
7. Medical Report ( general medical screening
8. Travel Insurance for the period of the program or at least one year plus copy
9. Proof of financial capacity if you are not on scholarship ( 3 months bank statement)
10. Guarantor's 3 months bank statement , letter and national ID if not on scholarship
11. Flight reservation from TAP
12. Request for consultation of the Portuguese criminal registry. ( to be given at the point of application)
13. Copy of the data page of your passport and other pages with visa or stamp.
14. Proof of payment of fees from the school in Portugal
15. A completed downloaded copy of the National Portuguese visa application form

Hi Araba, I came across your video and found it very helpful, tump up. I recently got admission to study MSc civil engineering at UTAD vila real, however i am planning to lodge my spouse visa application as accompanying member at the same time as mine, from your experience, could you advise if you were asked to do any biometric as part of your visa application? Reason being is that i work in another province and travelling to capital city where the embassy is located could be costly if my spouse presence is not required. Many thanks in advance.

Well from a couple here in Portugal from nigeria, biometrics weren't needed as at the time they applied but can't tell for now and Usually, you go with your spouse or your spouse goes with the documents, except there is a courier service that does the submission ( VFS for example). Probably yes but the chances are slim. However I'd advice you you to look for the the schools, go to their website and check the requirements, you can then send an email to them asking if you can be admitted with ur qualifications. They'll surely respond.

It depends on when you get an appointment with the immugration service
