Great to have you back! One of my favourite channels for high end paint jobs. Any chance you could do a tutorial for the rot flies the maggotkin of nurgle blight lords fly around on? There’s no good tutorials for them anywhere online or from GW!

Very kind of you to say Joe! I’ll see what I can do 🙂

Fantastic guide. I'll see if I can acquire a single face or mini to try this out on. If there's any scope to put out similar quick tutorials for varied skin tones then I'd love to see those.

Great idea Dan! I’ll see what I can do. I like these shorter quick videos, fun to record and edit but hopefully still useful to you guys. 🙂

Thanks for the great tutorial I needed a bit of guidance for a genestealer cult I was doing and couldn't get the colors quite right

Ah yes! That's a good shout, this would be great mix for Genestealer skin tones. Hadn't thought of that. 😀

Yes already recording the rest of the paint along videos I started and also already recorded the next three short hobby basix. Last year was a bit meh, but 2022 my aim is to get the channel back on track 🙂

Just noticed you got a dry tip on the brush while you were painting. I use to get it too. How do you remove it without damaging the brush? How to deal with those dried tips?
@WiltrichsMiniatureArt2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I hate that when it happens, I generally use my fingernails to gently pull the dried paint away from bristles. Not ideal I know.
@starscream62092 жыл бұрын
@@WiltrichsMiniatureArtUse to do the same. Always afraid to damage the tip of the brush.
@jcillis2 жыл бұрын
If you swirl the tip of the brush on a bit of paper towel that has been soaked in airbrush thinner (I keep a bit folded in a piece of foil so it can't dry out) it will loosen and "motivate" the paint enough to finish an eye or the like without having to clean and reapply paint to the brush. So long as it hasn't been too long. Hope this helps.
