Love the peacefulness and the rejuvenation of the holy Shabbat. So nice that we have this day to unplug from it all and savor the beauty of our family and the connection to Him. Leave me your questions for my husband and I for the Q&A.

I was visiting my brother and his family for Christmas. I was telling him about your channel and how much work and adoration you put into your meal! He is a Pastor of a small rural community in Missouri! I explained to him as Christians we worship and serve God in our way but you seem to show your love and respect so strongly as you prepare the Shabbat! In some ways we celebrate together and show our blessings from our Creator God. Thank you and blessings to you and your family!

Shalom from Gqeberha in South Africa 🇿🇦 I recently saw 2 methods, which in all transparency I haven't tried yet, but might make your prep a lot easier. The one was taking a soup ladel, fill it with ice cubes and run that over the top of the soup, it apparently gets all the goop to cling to it. Then you just peel it off the bottom of the ladel. Quick and easy. I am going to try this when we go into winter and I start my soups for Shabbos. The other one was cutting a garlic bulb in half sideways and then bang each half onto the table and all the cloves come out peeled. I will be trying that next week when I buy garlic again. I enjoy watching your channel, it gives my ideas for our Shabbos. Definitely going to do the garlic in oil. How long does it last in the fridge, as I am the only one who would eat it in this house?

I have just come across your videos and my children and I enjoy watching them. My husband and I have 4 little ones and I appreciate how you have made some videos about how your cleanup routine works and bedtimes. We are a home school family so that adds a different dynamic into the week. We also live in the country and not super close to food shopping. How do you do your food shopping, how often and do you go alone or with your children? I am taking away some tips of your's for early food prep ahead of Shabbat. I didn't grow up keeping Shabbat but have been enjoying Shabbat and the Biblical feasts for the past 11 years. I find it very challenging to accomplish so much prep in one day. Thank you for the tips for prepping ahead. Right now I have a very active 5 month old, so simple tasks take much longer. I need to learn how to make time to plan, schedule, prepare. What day do you plan, do you make menus,? What time do you go to bed? Thank you for sharing your life with us. Thank you also for the video on head covering. I also cover but never have understood the wig as a head cover. Thanks for the explanation. I wear mostly the tichel-type cover full-time. What is your first language? Do you speak Hebrew? Thank you! Shalom~

First of all, your video is lovely. Second: I suggest/request a shopping list in the notes. I would be looking forward to this every week too if this meal was being cooked for me. I also grew up eating scratch cooking though not Jewish, and remember being a cranky child about it sometimes. What a shock when I grew up and had to do without scratch cooking (home grown food). I would like to request a shopping list for ingredients. So many people just don't even stock a pantry at all anymore. Cooking one of your dishes would really be a start up venture. A list would help.

Questions for the Anniversary. How did you meet your husband? Do you ever use a crock pot for Shabbat? When do you grocery shop? Who does the grocery shopping? Are you handing over any cooking to your children yet? Do you ever buy pre made desserts? Do you serve dessert every week? What do you like to drink at Shabbat and with all your meals? Both you and the children? The sandwich loaves of bread made me want to see a sandwich making video. Would love to know what really highlights the sourdough bread.
