If I don’t love a painting I just make the decision to let it go and take the plunge and make a big mark to start with so there’s no going back! 😅 then I just paint over, almost always starting abstract and seeing where things go adjusting balance/composition and Color as I go..sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t!🤪

Enjoyed the argument you were having with yourself, I get it. 😄 However, the piece on the left reminded me of a time spent in the mountains and have used it to capture that memory, hope you don't mind.
