How I tried to beat the HARDEST Gen 6 Rom Hack!! (Eternal X)

Nuzlocke Ruleset:
1. If a Pokémon faints, then it must be permanently boxed.
2. I can only catch the first encounter on each Route.
3. No bag items in battle, except for pokéballs. (Held items are allowed)
4. Must be played on "Set" battle mode.
5. Cannot level over the next gym leader/elite 4's highest level pokémon.

26:07: As far as I am aware, Gen 6 custom double battles are a little bit buggy. If the AI sees a kill on one of the Pokemon on the field, it will attack this pokemon, no matter whose it is.

Aerilate is actually found on Mega Pinsir in addition to Mega Salamence. Fewer people remember Mega Pinsir though since it's not as good.

@@gengarcrobat1576 well like he said he led with the wrong mons and had furret do follow me. Typhlosion used eruption which goes for both targets, OHKOing both of them. He then obviously wiped and said that none of the following would be legit because he did indeed wipe at malva. But if he didn't lead with the wrong mons then he would've beaten it in his first attempt.

@@CharlesUK It is his run, absolutely, and if he wants to finish a non valid run that's fine. But don't sell it to us as doing a Hardcore Nuzlocke run of the game in 1 attempt. He didn't. He failed the attempt. Make that clear in the video.

If it wasnt for the difficulty and handholding, X/Y would be in the top tier of most lists. The region is beautiful, lots of cool mons, the storyline is alright. It's literally just the handholding, everything else is so nice. I have a lot of hours in this game just chilling in Pokemon X because of route design and the music. Really looking forward to playing this rom hack

Nah, besides the lack of any difficulty X/Y also just feel unfinished in the region design (lot of inaccessible areas, unused content ect.) and story (lingering plot threads, enemy team being vague ect.). On the other hand gen 6 definitely had the potential to be the absolute best of the main series if Gamefreak actually made a Z or sequel version.

@@islandboy9381 I disagree with a lot of that. The whole region feels well put together to me and not unfinished. You have inaccesseible areas in every game, I don't think X/Y was particularly bad in that regard. When it comes to story, I just do not care one bit. That's like watching Dora The Explorer looking for elite cinematography. Would've loved a Z version tho

11:50 i think you're forgetting something really important there. AI always goes for the kill if it sees the kill. Granbull always kills your Garchomp at that low hp, so Granbull always goes for Play Rough, no way it goes for Protect in that case

29:56 Actually! Entire-battle moves like Earthquake and Surf only ever have their damage not be split if there aren't any Pokemon on *either* side in the opposite slot. Even though your Aerodactyl was immune to Earthquake, it was still making the damage lower against the opponent.

I'm confused. At 6:33 you can see that there are 3 pokemon left including wigglytuff, meaning one of venusaur, milotic or nidoking would be dead. All 3 of them still appear in the rest of the run, so... Did I miss something ?

I think it was a mistake that my one of my twitch viewers pointed out. While coming up with the Wiggly protect play, everyone just forgot that Nidoking died. So I just continued the run until maybe two streams later, someone reminded my nidoking was dead. I honestly thought they were gaslighting me until I checked the VOD myself. It's a mistake on my part.

I'm sure I could, but I specifically talked to Drxx and he told me that Insanity Mode is too luck based, even with using Legendaries and using EVs. From his description of Insanity mode, too much of the game relies on luck and not enough intellect. So while I could beat it, it would probably make me rage a lot more as well.
