Nuzlocke Ruleset:
1. If a Pokémon faints, then it must be permanently boxed.
2. I can only catch the first encounter on each Route.
3. No bag items in battle, except for pokéballs. (Held items are allowed)
4. Must be played on "Set" battle mode.
5. Cannot level over the next gym leader/elite 4's highest level pokémon.

Maybe it was just me, but this game was a lot easier to HC Nuzlocke than Blaze Black. The vast majority of the battles are still singles, and most notably the early game is relatively easy due to access to a bunch of phenomenal encounters. There are still a few run killers for sure, but overall this game only took me 3 attempts.

​@@DocZ I just think the fact that you get access to like 7 potential intimidate mons before Leonora is a bit much. I feels like a lot of the broken stuff the AI uses is even more broken for the player. Like sure, Leonora's Kecleon is scary, but you also get access to Giga-Mightyena with Intimidate and early Sucker Punch, etc. The first gym is completely trivial, and Burgh is a LOT harder in BB. I think the thing that is more difficult is the Rival Battles, but even those should be fine with a slight level advantage. I guess it comes down a lot to playstyle though, I've noticed you play a lot more offensively than I do.

@@MrThaumaturgical Luck with encounters along sjde a defensive playstyle and a good strategy using stalling strats can make almost any rom hack easy. I personally enjoy running nuzlockles blind so i dont know the opponents answers.

1. if there are multiple moves that kill the ai picks randomly between them 2. rock wrecker literally does more damage: 150*1,5*2 = 450 80*4 = 320 edit: unless ai knows about charti berry but the ai definitely doesnt know when moves will crit it doesnt even know how revenge works edit 2: yeah apparently ai does know about berries, but still, theres no way it knows about crits, some other weird shit mustve been going on

I would recommend playing Pokémon reborn. It is not yet finished but there are currently 17 available gyms and tons on boss battles. There is also a 1/100 shiny odd and custom shiny sprites.

But the pokemon availability is really funny and the gyms are rather heavily unbalanced Plus the story is quite edgy, and only some could see the story on the good side It is a fun game nonetheless but it is rather a controversial game which is not the cup of tea of everyone

I'll just leave the story, but I don't think Rejuvenation is or will be a fun game to nuzlocke. There are so many boss battles and the game is so long, believe me, to say nothing of the rifts. Its not a game made to be nuzlocked, and probably never will.

Regirock went for rock wrecker because it probably saw a kill with both thunder punch and rock wrecker, since STAB neutral rock wrecker from a regirock is actually 225 base power and regirock has buffed attack I believe. Great video though!

This game is interesting, but I have to say some of the type changes and stat redistributions seem like they're just there to say; "look how unique and interesting this is". A lot of them are completely unnecessary. Big fan of adding things like water absorb to slugma though and chimeco being part steel. Ways that improve Pokémon without needing to do too much that doesn't make sense.

questions 1. why'd you sack magneton? wobbuffet's bulky, and you could heal after the fight anyways. 2. did you stop looking up details on trainers? the e4 seems pretty sloppy in comparison to the early game. 3. sort of a follow up to 2, but you were surprised by a lot of damage rolls. did you stop calcing? 4. why magneton and not magnezone? does the timid nature make 70 speed significantly better than 60?

1. I don’t quite remember why. I think since wobbuffet is super inconsistent, I wanted to keep him at highest health 2. Someone paid 100 dollars to play blind. I would not have restarted the run if I lost thought because the alternative would be to plan everything anyway 4. The only advantage magnezone has is 10 more SpAtk.

Do u plan on doing unbound nuzlocke at some point? Sandbox mode eliminates all grind from the game by letting u change ivs, natures, evs and eggmoves pretty much instantly

Loved this video, but since no one else is gonna ask, I might as well be the one to do it. How does Lenora have Brick Break and Magical Leaf on her Girafarig? It doesn’t say it can learn them on the documentation. Same with Cheren’s Jolteon knowing Energy Ball. On the documentation it says that Jolteon gets the tm for Grass Knot, not Energy Ball.

because the AI does see your items, even without frisk. For example, if you are holding a berry to reduce super effective damage, the AI will see this and then go for the strongest move (usually STAB) with this in mind instead of just clicking the normally highest damage, super effective move

nice video, but personally i dont see the point of this game or why it is so hyped atm, might aswell play blazeblack/voltwhite and ban weather + remove evs while also having gen4+5 mons and not having to deal with the COMPLETLY (drayanos changes were more moderate) mental pokemon changes

The worst part of Vintage White is the shit balancing imo. The Pokemon changes are fine...I guess, but the balancing needs to be loads better. You have Drowzee with nutty stats that early and it's unavoidable
