To answer Kiara's question on the glowing blue in the beginning, in TF2, the Medic(Healer) charges up Uber to 100% by healing his teammates. When it's full, at a click of a button, he becomes "Ubered" and completely Invincible for several seconds as well as who ever he is healing, which is essential for turning the tide of a game. The Medic can also choose to use a different healing gun and be able to grant a team mate "Critz" or guaranteed critical hits for who ever he is healing at the cost of no invincibility.

There's also the Quick-Fix, and its Uber grants knockback immunity and 300% faster healing, at the cost of no invincibility and 50% less overheal.

And then the Vaccinator, which... is complicated. For one, it can grant a 10% passive resistance to one of three types of damage (bullet, explosive and fire, one at a time, between which the Medic can switch any time) to the Medic and their target. It also splits the one Uber into 4 mini-charges that can be used one or more at a time on one or more people to grant a 75% damage resistance bubble to the medic and their target for the full duration of the mini-charge, independantly of the connection or disconnection of the healing beam, based on which damage resistance was selected at the time of usage. It also regenerates a portion of the damage absorbed by the bubble as health for the Medic. It sucks to explain, to really get it you have to see it in action.

Soldier is definitely a very simple class. Most of the really fun elements of the class come from all the crazy stuff you can do like rocket jumping. Even if you don’t incorporate rocket jumping at all, soldier is one of the most beginner-friendly classes. The rocket launcher, just as an offensive weapon, is really effective. He has a shotgun as a secondary like many other classes, and he has a lot of support options like trumpets and banners that buff your allies

Lazy was using gunboats (special type of item that replaces your secondary that add some metal parts for your soldier's feet) it has 60% self-blast damage reduction.

@@Ashrustic Sometimes they also want a consistent damage dealer, or they know where all the health kits on the map are and confident enough to get to them.

@@skippingstep1515 Manntreads give you better air maneurability and less knockback from enemies and also a stomp if you fall from a high place, this is used with the rocket jumper the one that doesn't do damage. The gunboats which reduce self damage are used with the regular launcher since you would die in 3/4 rockets if you jump, not factoring fall damage, and regarding health kits most players after they play 50+ hours should know the most common locations by that time. 50 hours is not a lot for this game, for instance i have over 2000 hours of playtime, and there are people with over 5000.

Usually only the medic and his healing target are ubercharged, however a medic can use a technique called flashing to keep multiple teammates ubered for moments at a time. This is done by rapidly switching the healing targets to give the other teammates a “flash” of invincibility.

Fun note: rocket launchers (or recoil-less rifles, to give them their full title) have essentially no kickback. All the force shoots out the end of the tube, so almost none is felt by the person holding it. If it was a closed tube the launcher would be propelled with the same force as the rocket, in the opposite direction, and to be frank I doubt there is anyone alive who could handle THAT much recoil.

I think every video LazyPurple does on explaining how it feels to play each class in TF2 show what each mercenary is good at. I would agree that this video was not entirely informing, since the Soldier is mostly known for rocket-jumping and blowing up others and that's basically it. And it's really hard. And I heard in the Team Fortress 2 universe, Abraham Lincoln invented rocket jumping and a staircase, but died trying it. He was also the Pyro for BLU Team before he was president. (Roughly 100 years before the current events of the game)

I got 2500 hours, and most just went into learnming how to rocket jump. and as he says, you never stop improving at it. parts of it are so inherantly difficult that you kinda have to take some time to get comfortable each time you play a new map

3:24 most weapons that are called rocket launchers are actually classified as recoilless rifles in other words very little chance to get a hurt shoulder unless you hold it wrong all together

Soldier has one of the more interesting weapons in the Cow Mangler 5000, it fires laser rockets and also has a charged shot which can light players on fire, and on top of that it needs no ammo as it refills itself. The only downside to speak of is it is very weak against Engineer buildings. If you pair it with the Concheror (Conch for short) you will not need to get health or ammo as often, you become a solo solly. My personal fav is the Liberty Launcher as i see it as underrated, but you can use any launcher you want. Theres the Regular rocket, the Original (a Quake reskin for the regular launcher), Blackbox which heals you as you hurt enemies, Direct Hit which has boosted damage and insane speed at the cost of a smaller explosion, Mangler which i already spoke about, Beggars Bazooka which fires 3 rockets in one shot (insanely fun and op), the rocket jumper which is good for practicing blast jumps, and the Liberty a weaker rocket launcher but with a quicker rocket speed, you take less damage from blast jumps, and 5 shots instead of 4, very useful to combo with.

Personally, I prefer the Kritzkrieg, which grants guaranteed Crits instead of invulnerability during an Übercharge. It also allows the Medic to perform a taunt that heals him whenever it is used.

No. No, no, no. The "Dumb America is only country that doesn't use metric" myth is false. England and its two largest colonies use some form of metric, but have not adopted it fully... and by two largest colonies, I mean the US and Canada. We do use metric in some capacity here in the US, but it isn't officially applied. Businesses use it and schools teach metric in some small capacity. Canada uses a similar method, it's used by businesses and printed on products you would buy in the store, but ordinary citizens don't really use metric all that much.
