Everything is so Liverpool.. Handball but no penalty given against Sevilla at 1-0, ofc lost the game. Dominate Real Madrid, so Rammos judo out Salah, no card, then elbowing Karius, no card, lost the game, GK had braindmg. Next final against Madrid, dominate the game, cant score, Madrid sees Liverpool's net 1 time, wins the game... And I could go on. I love to be Liverpool fan but its so fcking painful.

As much as I dislike Klopp & LFC, as a City fan I respect both even more. I think we should all be grateful for the insane level of competition and footballing excellence that the Pep/Klopp era allowed us to experience. I will never forget the sleepless nights before every LFC/MC game and I will never forget just how gut-wrenching it was going head to head in the final 10 games of the 2018/19 & 2021/22 seasons were which went down to the wire. From a fan perspective, I have never experienced anything like that before and not sure I ever will - I hope I don't lol. All that said, I will miss Klopp's remonstrations on the sidelines, his famous grin (which drove me nuts over the years as it usually meant a call or goal going LFC's way) and his brand of heavy metal football. Hats off to Jurgen Klopp for everything he's done and I wish him nothing but the best for the next chapter of his career.

Its hard to even put into words really what these past 9 years have felt like. From my excitement on day 1, not hoping but knowing the good times were coming and then just trying to absorb everything he did, on and off the pitch, seeing unbelievable developments happen in real time with my own eyes, cementing my trust in the man 110%... to winning everything we could've dreamed of... Sad that he will be judged by others and in history only by what he won, but glad we Liverpool fans got to go on this incredible and exclusive ride. Couldn't really ask for the club to be in a better spot either for the next era. I actually think winning more might be possible in the next 4/5 years but nothing will replicate the Klopp era and I'm low key hoping he comes back in a few years to rescue us lol.

even when he was with BVB , from the outside he looked like a person with whom you can talk to forever , he looked like a human being in a cut throat business . When he came to liverpool , and as a lfc fan , most will relate , to people his age he feels like a friend , to people of my age he feels like a father figure , to kids he feels like a grand dad , we dont know him 1v1 but it is the connection that he has developed over screen . his news to leave gave a weird sense of sadness , and his last match will be diffrent , it scares me , scares not for the future of the club but not seeing him week in and week out , but we want the best for kloppo , thank you for the high and the lows and specially for the lows coz you helped many to understand that in low is the moment where you can show who we really are , thank you for being who you are . There will never be another Kloppo ,

I heard it as a rumor back in October that Klopp might quit in May. At the time, I felt like that was the right thing to do. In fact, I think he should have quit 2 years ago, because he challenged the "7-year curse" and he lost. I'm surprised you don't bring up the 7-year curse in this video. Had he left 2 years ago, he would have left on a high note, but I'm glad he took an extra year after deciding to defy the curse to make it right. so I heard it as a rumor by the time he had told the club he was quitting, so someone must have leaked it.

If you reduce football to winning titles and nothing else, it's a depressing, soulless dirge for most fans most of the time. We should value the steps along the way, the moments that get you in a position to have your heartbroken later on. It's not the hope that kills you, it's the hope that keeps you going. Ask any Liverpool fan and the chances are they think of the 4 - 0 win in the semi-final against Barca before they think of winning the trophy in Madrid. We think of the amazing 5 - 4 win against Norwich and the 4 - 1 against City even though those victories, if judged against the idea that only trophies matter, were meaningless. In football, as in life, the key is learning to enjoy the journey, not just the destinations.
