On weekdays I knock on 25+ doors and typically 15 will answer. Saturday’s are hands down the best door knocking days, though.. nearly everyone is home and is in a good mood. God bless you and all you do my man

Thank you for this information! I'm a new agent, and my license is pending. This has me completely motivated to get there! I'm ready to make even these 20 doors cold knocks!

You can do it Teresa! 💪 Let me know if there's anything you need help with. Not sure if this would interest you, but I have a private coaching program with additional training that I feel is extremely valuable for new agents. I have several new agents in the group that are well on their way to making six figures this year. Let me know if you'd like to hear more about it! You can reply back on here or give my office a call at 833-402-4368!

Cody, this is a game changer. I love door knocking, but when you broke it down like this, I really don't want to pick up the phone again to talk to a client. I only want to door knock now. And yes, I'd like to coach with you, please.

It was a very sunny afternoon in Montreal, Canada. If you're RIGHT, I'm going to door knocking even in winter. I promise.!!!!!!!!!

I found this video to be so helpful. I’m a new agent and have been on my own for 2 months but have been struggling. After watching this it’s obvious to me that the issue is my activity. I’m going to set a target of knocking 20 doors per day next week. I think I’m staying in some of the houses too long as well. When you get in a home, how long do you stay in there typically? How do you keep yourself from staying too long so you can hit your daily goal of 20 door knocks? I can’t wait to give this a try next week! I also need to get back to using a route planner.
@CodyAskins5 жыл бұрын
This is a great question, Lin. We'll have Cody get more in depth on Wednesday's live show at 2 p.m. CT. However, to make sure you don't stay in a house too long is to keep control of the conversation. If it sounds like they're interested, you can take a little more time to make the sale. However, know the difference between an objection that can be overcome and someone who is just going to have every reason not to buy. For example, "I already have insurance" is an objection you can overcome, but someone repeating closed-ended statements is a house from which you want to make a quick exit.

so the only reasons insurances seller don't sell, is because they do not put enough effort through door knocking / cold calls? makes sense but what if worst-case-scenario; we are at a lowest rate of 1/3 response... is 1/3 rate response realistic or it's part of worst-case-scenario?

@CodyAskins5 жыл бұрын
He's going on 100% which is fairly common. Some are higher. But if you get leads for free, you could still reach that income because you are not out-of-pocket on your leads.

35 a door then subtract the 20-30 you are paying per good lead you are making much less.

@CodyAskins5 жыл бұрын
Instead of saying, "I'm here about your request for the (insert product) information..." you would say, "I'm in this area sharing the new (information/regulations) about (insert product)..." And obviously you would have to then be careful about no soliciting signs and etc.

What time of day do you find it to be the best time to knock?
@CodyAskins4 жыл бұрын
Well there is not a certain time of the day that is best for everyone. You need to set a route of all potential clients, and then try them at 9 A.M then at noon then again at 3 P.M and just see which one work better with them. Thank you
