TOTAL PROGRAM COMPLETION Please note that counting from the date you gain access to Course 1, learners have a total of 24 months to complete the program. For Courses 1, 2, 3, and 4, you are allowed a maximum of 5 months for each course. As for Course 5, you are allowed a maximum of 1 month. You will note that the maximum number of months for Courses 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 add up to a cumulative 21 months total. The remaining 3 months (for a total of 24 months) are required to schedule and complete your Exams 1, 2, 3, and 4, as well as Simulation Sessions 1 and 2. Prior to registering in any given Course, Exam, or Simulation Session, learners must successfully complete the corresponding pre-requisite. For example, prior to registering in Exam 1, a learner must successfully complete Course 1. Similarly, prior to registering in Course 2, a learner must successfully pass Exam 1; and so on.

You will have to write the exams yes. Much stricter regulations in Ontario then USA.

You have 4 courses that will be all online. You learn online and do the test online. Then you will have 2 simulation sessions. These are 5 days usually Monday to Friday where you will have an exam on the final day. 👍 I have videos on the Simulation Sessions as well. SIMS 1 & SIMS 2

Now, many people are forgoing home inspections do you foresee a time when people will do the same with real estate agents?

That was only in such a heavy sellers market because offers were coming in with no conditions. But good Realtors at the time were suggesting half inspections. So the home inspector could still come in during the showing. It wasn't at the same full price as a home inspection but gave some additional support in a rare time. But home inspections are back now and highly recommended.

I am wondering how fast I can start my work as a real estate agent once I finished my pre registration phase and found a brokerage? Will I be able to work right away or I should wait for my RECO application to be processed which I heard it might take up to 4 months. Thanks.

Hey Danial glad the video helped! Yes you have to wait for your RECO application to be approved. I'm not too sure where you heard the 4 months from though. Mine took 3 days and right now the people that are joining with me it's taking a little longer like 6-9 business days. But yes, basically as soon as that's approved your ready to rock!

@@inthumathan2867 hey, the same thing happened to me for course 1. There is an online form that you can fill up and explain why you couldn’t finish the course by the due date and they might extend it for you. They extended mine for a month and I didn’t have to purchase the course again. Just keep in mind that you’d better click through the whole course material and finish it so you won’t have to worry about this happening again.

too bad you don't take into account the fact that with the virtual exams the dates all typically all booked up so even if you have done all your studying you might not be able to take the exam until a month later thereby increasing the amount of time it will take to fully complete and obtain the license. I just passed my exam 3 and now the only available simulation slot is a month from now. I would of passed this license in 4 months had I been able to book with classes.

When I started C1 I did find out that you can't book your exam until the system shows that you have went all the way through the course material. So what I do is just click through the entire course and book my exam appropriately for my timing. That way I have a date set and I move through the course in control and on my timing. Try this for C4. 👍

No not without taking additional actions. You will have to take an Interprovincial Challenge Examination in Ontario. Upon successfully completing the exam, qualified individuals may apply to RECO for registration as a salesperson or broker.

Yea even if you bought that Humber would still make you pay for the entire course. Theres no option to just take the exam if you know what I mean. Yea if that was the case it would be less expensive for people that already have the knowledge for sure.

Yes for sure. You're definitely allowed to and if you have 3 hours a day you can probably finish in under 5 months. Mine was 3hrs a day everyday and got through it in 4.5mths. But you have a full 2 years so no rush.
