As soon as I get any feeling that someone is "testing" me I just lost interest. I hate mind games. That person isn't ready for a mature relationship. If you can't just be yourself with someone there's no there there.

Testing is normal, healthy, and mature--for both sexes. You can and should just be yourself, and if you don't pass each other's tests, then you clearly aren't a good fit. It's not about playing mind games, it's about seeing if you meet each other's standards and values, which is extremely important when selecting who to invest in a relationship with.

Everyone tests people. It's the same as putting your toe in the water before you jump in. Do you test men before you trust them with your darkest secrets? It would be foolish to trust anyone without some type of evidence that they are trustworthy. Its not the same as jumping through hoops or being manipulated.

Loved hearing this information! A great guide to find “the one”, and not lose yourself in the process and waste valuable time and energy. I may have found my One💖 and hearing this will definitely help see if he enters my tunnel of love....since he is already in the funnel LoL! He is measuring up to these steps you have outlined for us women who are trying to keep that queen status. Every step is a real journey in getting to know oneself, staying true to yourself and ultimately dance with that guy who is potentially our Prince Charming for a long term relationship! May the music never end...he loves music, as do I, and we share songs to communicate our thoughts and feelings, when we are open to be vulnerable to real love.

Storytime😆 I have been in a relationship with my man for a little over 20 months now! He said something to me, spoke his truth as he saw it and expressed to me in a respectful manner! After about an hour of brewing over it, I realized he was right, as much I hated knowing that, it was definitely true! I didn't pick a fight or argue, I simply said you're right, I apologize and I'll work on that! As women our natural go-to knee jerk reaction when someone calls us out on our BS is to get mad and start a fight or argument! Learning to recognize that feeling when it first starts to boil up in us and knowledging it but not allowing it to take over how we show up in life or respond to those we say we love is very empowering by nature! He recognized my wisdom and maturity in that situation and said I had set the tone for how he will operate from now on! He was proud of me for taking ownership in it and putting in the work to communicate like an adult and overcome my ego! It said it was refreshing to see a woman these days do that! It created a stronger bond between us!

Call you over your bs? Why should you be bs'ing in the first place for you to be called out for it? Don't generalize other women to yourself. Stop assuming women have bs to be called out on and then get argumentative over being called out on their bs. Just say it's YOU!
@beac8238

@@sarkie3927 no one is perfect. we all experience defensiveness, sometimes completely unaware of it. it’s human nature to protect our ego. take some time to reflect on your knee jerk comment & ways you may have responded like this to real life relationships. it’s ok to acknowledge our faults & take accountability. it doesn’t make us unloveable to admit a mistake. it only makes us better.

I am also currently talking to someone who has completely raised my standards whether I end up with him or someone else in the end. He is amazing in every way and we have so much in common. We started as coworkers then became friends and feelings have blossomed. He constantly showers me with compliments and wants to do anything he can to be able to spend time together. He is 'all about me" as you said. My only concern is the possible large age gap and he is embarrassed to say his age. I am upper 20s. Neither of us have kids so that's no issue. We both love kids and he's amazing with my nephews and family. What are your thoughts on large age gaps?

Topic one- I have a novel idea… rediscover chivalry… when I was dating, before I met my husband, I am a lady, if I’m looking for a mate I am looking for… if not a knight in shining armor, the very least lol a gentleman!!! Let me explain how this obviously archaic practice worked: A. Man drives to woman’s house/apt B. Man puts vehicle in park turns off engine C. Man gets out of his vehicle and walks to the door rings bell or knocks D. Door is answered and man enters the premises E. Man helps lady with coat or sweater or shoulder wrap (weather specific) F. Man takes lady’s arm or hand and walks her to her side of vehicle opens her door closes her door and now returns to drivers seat. G. Date begins - ***why can’t we see the elephant in the room… women and men ARE NOT THE SAME. our ‘equality’ (I hate that word) is that we were all created humans by the same creator!!! The end- we were created very different and for very different purposes… When we care about something/someone we are careful, gentle, cherishing it (them). Just in case those reading this comment are wondering- I’ve been watching videos like these to help me understand what my single adult daughter is up against in the ‘dating scene’ today… I know there are some modern day gentlemen out there I just can’t believe what a difference 3 decades can make…

If he doesn't drive the distance to pick me up at my door then he's not worth my time unless he doesn't drive. A man should always offer to accommodate her even if she drives and has a car. If he doesn't drive then its his responsibility to accommodate her and pay for her gas.

If your parents are out of the 60s/70s they were countering the "secrecy" and held back nature of the 1950s that they saw growing up. Yeah, as Jewish kids we saw a lot of that, and now my grown son says his father and I were a little too "out there" ! I never thought we were. lol

The funniest online date I had recently, was a guy who lived in Los Angeles & I live in San Diego... he was already here visiting & we met. He psychoanalyzed me on the date, which was insulting. My tolerance for HIS independence... it's 95 % the opposite in MY experience of dating over 8 years. I am MUCH more independent than the men I attract. Helena, I was dating a guy i have known since 1st grade. Our families know each other. We both went through a divorce. It's been at least 3 years for both of us. We decided to date. It lasted 9 months. I felt so in love. He all of a sudden ended it. He did some therapy. We have remained friends. We help each other with things neither of us are good at. I still am in love with him. I know he has feelings for me. He says we are just not compatible, but I don't believe him. He has a son at home, whom i get along with well. I am way more active than he is due to back issues. He says he is looking into surgery in a year. I know that bothers him as he feels he holds me back. But his values and morals are so inline with mine. What am I missing.? I have dated other men and still desire him. I have decided to try online dating for the first time, even though I constantly think about him. I just don't know if you have any advice for me. I guess I plunge forward and see where it takes me. I can't force this guy to want to be with me. Thanks, Denise

Denise Fetzer since he is divorced with a child, he may still have feelings for his ex and is unable to move on from her. He also has his son to consider and while you may think everything has fallen into place, he doesn’t feel the same way. Try to focus on other people. If you do that, you will eventually find the right person for you, or this might give him the space to realize he misses you. It’s hard for him to miss you if you are always available to him.

Dating sites are where men & women go for sex, that's all they're good for. Your better off meeting people in the real world & in person. It's easier to gauge the person right then & there including any initial attraction. If you can get over your fear that you females have you could ask the guy out, rather than expecting him to pick up clues that your interested which most males miss.

Yes, probably too late. It takes men over 90 days to want to commit and fall in love. Sex does not make them like you more. They produce bonding hormones when they commit, not when they have sex. We, as women, bond because of sex. After men have sex, they lose their desire to pursue unless they have commited.

Loved this video❗️ ❓With online dating if the guy confuses you with another (ie says he told you he lives xyz floor or that you told him you live in xyz but neither were previously addressed) and you say with good sweet tone oh I think you are confusing time with another you are talking to and he just continues the conv but doesn’t address your comment - do you just let it slide if it’s in the first week or 2❓(he’s currently consistent) - I don’t see anyone having addressed this anywhere 😆

Hey Suz. I would probably bring this up on a zoom date or an in person date and just get clarification. It may have been a mistype or perhaps he lied, but it will be easier to figure out what is going on through a conversation. "What did you mean, when you said." OR "I heard you say ....Is that what you meant?" I hope that helps?
@suzp8627
@suzp8627 4 жыл бұрын
EZ Dating Coach No question that is what he said/meant because I had to repeat “no you didn’t tell me you live on that floor” or no I didn’t say I lived there.. he said yeah I sent you the picture and said I’m on x floor. (He did send a sunset pic but never talked about the type of home or floor he lived at - neither did I about where I live) this was all over a phone call. He just continued the conversation even after I mentioned on the 2 instances (same call) that he was confusing me with another he’s talking to. Do I say I felt my comment was ignored❓

EZ Dating Coach sorry for the confusion wish there was a 15sec voice record 😄. No. He said he told me what floor he lived on and that he lived in an apt BUT he had never told me previously. He also said I told him before that I lived in an apartment, which I never did (I don’t live in an apt). I said to him you are confusing me with someone else you are talking to. He just continued the conversation pretty much ignoring my comment. (He has continued to be consistent since then) - Thank you so much for your insight! Looking forward to your response if this clarifies matters.

@@suzp8627 - I would probably let it go for now. I would focus on seeing if you two are a match. Eligible men and women are typically going to be managing a few options as they look for their partner. However, if this is truly bothering you/making you curious there is nothing wrong with asking him about it over zoom or in person. Hope that helps.
