Yes I've just done that I was with this guy for 4 months, he told me his work was more important, then he was given a theatre ticket by his friend and asked if I wanted to go along but I would have to get a ticket and sit away from him! I said no thank you. He then told me he was going to the opera with another lady friend of his. The following weekend I gave him a letter saying I'm not prepared to carry on like this and finished the relationship.

Communication is the most important key before any commitment. Started seeing this guy and we really connected and we have such a great energy together. Yesterday he said he would call me in 10 minutes but didn’t call until 8 hours later, I told him I was relieved he was ok and that his cousins came over unexpectedly however I told him he could’ve just quickly texted me ttyl I’m ok instead of having me worry about him. Overall I told him that if we can’t communicate then there’s nothing here for both of us and that I’ll be fine without him

If he cared about you he wouldn't have left you hanging the way he did. Taking a moment from his cousins to courteously let you know he'd contact you later would have been a plus on his side; however, I had to learn the hard way that if they go silent for 8 hours and use a lame excuse of "cousins who came over" to look for a different translation. When I investigated what I was told about the 8-hour silence I learned they weren't with family at all. He was on a date with a woman he'd told me was his former girlfriend. I talked to her after accidentally, yes, it was by accident, on his phone. So I contacted her and learned what was really happening. Learned the hard way to be VERY CAREFUL about believing what they say.

Age is just a number. When we do right by ourselves, and follow our heart, we will be closer to what we need, and we find that in ourselves first. If we put off doing right by ourselves, the numbers stack up, and we haven’t stepped up to who we want to be, to who we are meant to be. As women, we are all given certain gifts, so it’s up to us to find them , be grateful for them, and use them. Realizing our truths is the biggest step we can make for ourselves. The first step is the hardest, the more steps we take, the more we can trust ourselves and come into our own. Follow our heart and gut instincts.

Your question is something I am pretty well familiarized with. He's asking for what he wants when he says he wants space. I think it's an amazing idea to give him some of that space for sure. I mean imagine this they might reflectively consider you the same kind of person who wants to take his life away afterwards by not giving him air or space so if your wedding was a mirror and your marriage it's reflection do you see where the problem of not doing so when he asks initially for the right thing becomes him asking for something else to feel worthy too. Like no wait a minute don't give me that it's not what I want. No it is. Give him what he asks for. I come to think that a point was mentioned that scarcity isn't scarcity with energetic clinginess. However if the space you give doesn't have the effect that's alright your life's not over. You still can do things that make you happy, sometime you'll find someone who cares enough about you that you may be able to ignite this in them along the way. I know the pandemic is preventing a lot of hobbies from actually happening. I would spend most time up on my gameplay unafraid to turn on do not disturb. By the way that's a single click to change your cell phone view. Sometimes you don't hesitate.

Kinda secret lover..I get really sad because of that. His children and grandchildren will never now me. He shows foto's and films aĺl the time. His wife died 8 years ago. He loves me kinda in his way. But I will never be a part of his life. I also don't want too for most of the time. But why does it hurt so much..I don't have children of my own. Perfect. Love it. regards from Ecuador. And yes is very difficult to handle and develop and serious long distance relationship most of the time they fade away. Men lately no want make efforts or face any responsibility. The guy is from Sweeden but he is no moving forward. Im leaning back. Silent mode since Friday. He shown me a red flag 🚩 like disappear less contact in weekends His excuse his 12 year old son that he is focusing too. But i think he is no serious enough
