Hi Helena and Anthia this sounds very interesting,I need some advice also,I am 50yrs old and my friend is 38 the thing is i knew his family a him a long while ago he also knew my husband, but my husband passed away 2 yrs ago,I had his number as for business so I message him a good morning one day June of last year, he saw my wats up pic,he said not sure who is this, when I told him who it was he was like oh my gosh, how are you all, he said he was telling his family how long he has not seen us , so I told him my husband passed away, since then we started messaging one another whole night for a few months,then he said he wanted to see me in real how I look, my daughter took me to meet him at a location where he pick me up he drives around for about 2 hrs he said he likes his friend he asked me to be his friend ,he had only one girl friend and he only kiss her nothing else,he told me everything about him self, his family knows me and my family as well,he told his family what happened to my husband, they were sad to hear about it, so he told me his mom wants me to come over to spend some time with them, so I did, after some time he wanted to be more than friends, so I decided to go for it knowing for sure he never had anyone he wanted me to teach him since he does not know anything about a woman,I was feeling real different becuz I did not had any one since my husband passed 2 yrs ,so for the first time I was not feeling comfortable ,we have been with each other a few times , but his family don't know,he said one day his mom told him that it looks like I like him but he told her no, he has only one sister she is 33 also not married, these people really threat me like real family they he told me his family is real friends with me so dat is why he don't want to be together we will remain friends,becuz his family really likes me I spend nights with them I sleep with his sister

As a woman, two months of no contact, I realized I was falling in love with him, after 6 months of dating, three months in of no contact, I am cutting those feelings off. It was a waste of time. No bad experiences, no arguments or disagreements, really enjoyed each others company, but he was emotionally available due to previous relationships. It seems like men never deal with previous relationships, are scared to get into a new relationship for fear of the same experience. I am not going to be judged for something someone else has done to them. I had my own bad relationships and worked through them and never put a past bad relationship experience on someone else and I expect the same. I am whole, kind and caring and don't hold grudges, but I know when to move on.If they are stuck in the past, there's nothing you can do but move on.

I am a man, thank you ladies for doing this powerful video, I wish every woman could understand the basis of this man's emotional need. However, I want to disagree with the time frame of 2 weeks, wanting distance is an instinct on a subconscious level, so you can't put a time frame on it, some will pull away more, some less, men are not the same, are not influenced or driven the same in life, this restricted time frame would not work with some man, certainly not the alpha type that would devote & worship that one woman who can have the strength, resilience, loyalty & patience to hold the distance whilst I'm gone to hunt for her & when I come back, believe me that woman would never go hungry again emotionally, mentally etc., unfortunately that kind of a woman is rare! This is the reason marriages gets to a point of misery where the mistery & excitement is lost, all because a man is not able to ditach, have space (men's emotional need) since the nature of a typical marriage is that both couple in the same space all the time & hence little to no polarization!

Thanks for sharing your insights here! I don’t remember either of us giving a 2-week timeframe in this video, that doesn’t sound like something I’d say but I’ll have to rewatch it.

Truth - and an alpha female enjoys some distance and space and ‘excitement’ over codependency, anxiety, and constant predictability. Certainty and variety can exist in a relationship! No one likes a clingy man or woman!
@chilcade59952 жыл бұрын
The alpha type is valued for his ability to protect, beta males hunt and leave because the are not strong enough to protect and if they don't return, no one cares. When you go Rouge you leave your woman vulnerable and fail to protect her.

Thank you Helena and Antia (also the men who have commented), I really needed to hear this. My partner of over 7 years goes hot and cold on me, but I see where I've been 'wrong' in our relationship as I was clueless to how men are wired, for example; I always wanted to talk things out when something was wrong in our relationship and he seemed distanced, it was only when I learnt almost 3 years ago that men need space to think things over. I once 'Allowed' my man go into his 'Cave' rather than 'Forcing' him to hear me and talk, and after a day of him going into his 'Cave' he came back better and was talking about our future plans. I know what you both lovely women are saying to be true and even the comments I've read from men on this post which I really appreciate coming from their perspective, it all really helps as I still get things 'Wrong', a lot of time because its so hard especially as I'm talkative but I'm learning to get out of my head (Masculine) and into my heart (Feminine), and I actually quiet like it when I've done that, it feels so peaceful because that's when I'm not analysing.

@HelenaHartCoaching2 жыл бұрын
Great question! Like we explain in the video, this is for a man who IS consistent but needs some time to himself every once in awhile. If a man is inconsistent in general, I’d recommend moving on. Hope that clarifies it! 💕

Yes this is about a man who is simply balancing his archetypes but is in general more on the secure attachment style scale.

My only question is while giving your man space so he can get back in his masculinity, is this going to have the same effect if he’s also talk to other women? We live in a time where everyone is “talking”’to everyone. Especially if you met on a dating app.

_"My only question is while giving your man space so he can get back in his masculinity, is this going to have the same effect if he’s also talk to other women?"_ As a man I can honestly say: NO. It's not going to have the same effect. That "space" thing will not mean much if/when other beautiful women start to show interest in him. If you want to attract and keep a man (on a deeper level), you have to do it in the right way from the start. Women have to show vulnerability, they must be open and not afraid to be feminine. This is absolutely crucial. You have to show your man that you "need him" on a deeper level. A man has to feel that his masculinity is needed in the relationship, that he has a purpose and that the woman is not able to do everything herself. The woman has to lower her emotional "shield" or "wall" completely and open up. One of the most sexy things a woman can do to a man is to hug him hard, rest her head on his chest and tell him that she needs him to comfort her because she is stressed/sad/tired etc, etc, this will melt his heart in an instant. His entire masculinity will feel "needed" and he will feel deep love towards you. Trust me, I am a man, I know.
@dianemaree33132 жыл бұрын
@@robert4you ,,, thank you for your 'male' reply on this matter. Really appreciate it. When another woman is involved at this point, the 'female' side can end up feeling crushed from betrayal. That's where I am now. I've shut down. Trust is out the window and the experience tells me that if he runs off with other women when times are tough, that he is showing a lack of wanting to grow with me through the tough times. Does not give me confidence in the relationship which creates more distance.
@robert4you2 жыл бұрын
@@dianemaree3313 Trust is one of those key factors in a great, loving relationship. It is also the hardest thing to restore when broken. I would go so far and say that it's almost impossible in cases which you described. If I were you, I would confront him in a very calm way: ask ALL the tough questions. Every Single One!!! Demand that he answers them according to the truth. Everything must be put on the table. If he refuses or you see that he tries to "wiggle" his way out of the questions, tell him to stop. Then you look him straight in the eyes and tell him firmly that this relationship is over. Tell him that he has caused permanent emotional damage in your entire being and that it is impossible to repair the mess he has created. Leave him without any remorse and do it with confidence, upright and with pride. Your man must feel that he is done and that he lost you! Eventually, as times goes by, you will find a real man who knows what boundaries and respect are. Good luck, Diane!

So this is my concern for a while, knowing that men fall in love in the absence of a woman, what happens when you're married and you're always there. Do you have to plan ways to keep yourself at a distance so that he will still stay in love with you?
@HelenaHartCoaching2 жыл бұрын
Great question! I wouldn’t worry about that when you’re with the right person - having things going on in your life outside of the relationship (friends, career, interests and hobbies, etc.) will naturally create all the space you need. The next video I’m going to publish should be helpful for anyone who’s in that situation. 💕

_"Do you have to plan ways to keep yourself at a distance so that he will still stay in love with you?"_ No! That's not how it works. If you are in a good relationship a man does not crave any absence whatsoever - but you have to give him space and freedom to do what he likes to do without "nagging" or constant checking up on him. Let me repeat what I wrote in another comment above: If you want to attract and keep a man (on a deeper level), you have to do it in the right way from the start. Women have to show vulnerability, they must be open and not afraid to be feminine. This is absolutely crucial. You have to show your man that you really "need him" on a deeper level. A man has to feel that his masculinity is needed in the relationship, that his contribution is needed and received well by his woman, that he has a purpose and that the woman is not able to do everything herself. When a woman is not afraid to show/reveal her honest, deepest emotions and feelings + signals that she needs him and his masculinity because she craves it, no absence is ever needed. He will stay with you for the rest of his life. Trust me, I am a man, I know.
