I absolutely love your content Gabriel! I’m a very passionate amateur weightlifter and seeing your videos and training progress motivates me to be better. You are also the most aesthetically pleasing weightlifter out there. Your snatches are like Pavarotti at the Sydney Opera. Just sheer artistic perfection.

Does anyone even notice you moving these huge weights? Maybe they are used to seeing people hit 210kg for a triple and make it look casual? Thanks for posting this - it is motivating to see your training.

Nice work. In your training, when do you like to do your max squat and max sn/cnj at the end of a cycle? Same day or very far apart? Which one do you test first?
@gsincraian9 күн бұрын
Definitely that strength first, and I will recommend you my strength calculator for c&j : gabrielsincraian.com/strength-calculator/ Now my training is a bit different, because i'm recovering , I'm not progressing and it's fast. after I will reach 370-380 total it will be something else

I really can't tell the difference in your reps whatever the weight on the bar is. It's always the same. Ok maybe 230 had a minor slowdown in the middle. They're so smooth. Even when you say you felt something's not feeling great when doing them. How difficult is it to adjust the training for aches or issues when you have performance goals? For example having to cut reps short and still trying to get to the goals. I remember back when you had some hamstring issues that interrupted a training cycle. Do they usually go away over the cycle as you address them or do you just have to deal with them the best you can?
@gsincraian8 күн бұрын
depends of the situation, for example in 2012 I had an back injury and I competed like that at olympics. If I have to choose, I will go lighter trying to fix the issue and go back again stronger

Gabriel, is it normal to feel tightness, tenderness, or soreness in your traps when you are first learning the snatch in the overhead position? Its one of the first things i noticed after my first session with a pvc pipe. Love your content.
@gsincraian9 күн бұрын
nope, is not normal :) you should feel good when you practice snatch or clean&jerk
