What help me was doing a lot of cardio it doesn’t matter what kind,do all especially if your going to a gym used the bikes , the stairclimber, the treadmill or even jump rope,do all of them for like 30 to 45 minutes 3x a week or even 4,it will help you get better also remember to increase your pace as you progress or as your time come close to head out to training.

Thank you man, I’m waiting to get my ship date now since I’m heading to MEPS in like 2 weeks to get sworn in, I suck at running but I’ve been doing laps around a football field . I’m going to start running long distances this week and preparing myself for that. I don’t know what to expect so I’m going to just go hard as I can on some David goggins shyt…just so if I can’t be like Alpha company I can fall somewhere in between but imma shoot for Alpha.

Answer: Not as much as you would expect. It's all HIIT with some running thrown in if your drill sergeant thinks you guys are slow on your 2-mile times. Do lots of push-ups and HIIT if you want to prepare. Also, plank a ton. Get used to doing it for 4 minutes because it's the easiest thing to max on the ACFT, and you'll have no excuse to not max it by the end of basic.
