Speaking of the turbo VQ route. I feel like once this LS3 is completely dialed in and perfect, it will be way more reliable as well and you'll get years of enjoyment out of it. Boosted cars are usually a time bomb at this power level. You basically have a brand new car at this point.

Yes I would say the cool factor is up there to with a swap car ! Don’t get me wrong turbo vq can work really well to but this in my opinion is the better setup !

My LS swapped 240 came with rebuilt RS5R30A 300zx trans with top loader conversion, ford 8.8 rear end with 3.73 and a spooled diff. Mecloud 6 puck with Nissan 300zx billet flywheel. Nissan 300zx starter. Granted has the cheaper more available lm7, has a gen4 pan, summit 8707 cam, pac 1219 dual springs, retainers, trunnion, tbss instake manifold, eBay cold air, msd sreetfire coils with dragonfire wires, SS vband headers, 3" x pipe, black widow mullfer and 3" axle back, new headgaskets, head bolts, cam bearings, crank bearings, stock rebuilt 706 heads, a p01 suburban ECM with hptuners mvpi2 and 2 credits, sport springs, all new bushings, pnahard bar, adjustable torque rods with poly, some hub adapters with Corvette salad shooter 16x9 wheels and kuhmo ecsta xs tires for around 10k...

So what year is your chassis? I see you have the 06-08 interior and the exterior lights. But I notice you don’t have the “bump” hood that comes on the 2nd gens. It looks like you have a 03-05 hood. Just curious if you chose this hood for a reason. Still the best LS 350z I’ve ever seen 👍🏼

Alll body panels and lights where what came from the factory I still have the window sticker for the car I didn’t change the hood or lights ! The car is an 06 , in 07 they changed the hood for the HR models this was a DE

All depends on how you build the engine ! The LS platform can handle lots of power when you build it correctly. The drive line of the cdoo9 trans can handle it and so can the rear end but it’s just a matter of how you build the engine 👍

@@wade_debo Do you have AC on the 350? if so, what kind of radiator are you using?

@@eekay3646 LOJ makes a radiator kit. I'd suggest that. The other problem with AC is the compressor sits low, down by the sway bar. I'm running a Whiteline swaybar and there's not much clearance between the compressor and the swaybar. This is using LOJ's accessory drive and AC installation brackets.

@@glevii Thanks, but I don't want to use LOJ's accessory drive kit. It just looks awkward to me, and I don't think it's worth $1100 or whatever. Stephen at LOJ told me to use the high mount AC (Sanden) LS3 accessory drive. At first I was gonna use the C6 LS3 factory accessory drive, and Stephen said the AC would hit the frame rail on the passenger side. As for the radiator, I think I'm gonna get a "universal one" and use that, but not CX racing. LOJ has high quality stuff. But too expensive at $2 g's.

You can find all kinds of info on the forums and such for basic stuff ! There is always KZbin videos out as well that you can learn from to ! Also just doing things and learning on the go your self is always the best way to get the basics down to 👍

Yea like I said in the video there is always guys that can do it cheaper but this is in my opinion quality parts and wanting no issues along the way. The ls3 alone is expensive and they are getting hard to find. My choices of building all brand new with everything ads up in price quick but that was me cutting no corners. Lots of people can make it work for cheap but this was the price of the way I did things. Thanks for the feedback tho !

You would have to remove the brace but it wouldn’t affect it to much to remove it. I believe there is a few with an LSA blower on the 350z out there on KZbin ?

This would be very similar! Most of the parts would be the same.

Yes it does. There are some differences, like driveshaft length and exhaust. One annoying difference is the Oil Pressure reading. The 350Z has a stock gauge, but the G35 just has a dummy light. So, you'll have to install an aftermarket oil pressure gauge with a G35 if you want to monitor oil pressure, which is highly recommended on an LS. Other than that, the two vehicles are almost identical.
