Bruuuuuuuh I'm Seychellois. Great on your part to Negotiate for the Taxi trip. A return ticket from Europe to Seychelles is between 800 to 1200 Euros. And the Hotel you paid might be a 3 star for the least. Yes we are a very expensive country, however you need to know where to go and what to look for same as in any country. One Mistake you've kept on doing in this video is Confusing "Victoria" which is the capital and only City in The Seychelles and "Mahé" which is the Main Island and where the Capital City is located.

There's two city on Mahe' island, Ande Royal is known to be the second city. And probably the industrial zone will be the third. Therefore the video is not that accurate,but the essential was shown.

Correction - Seychelles does not import everything. They have their own fish, vegetables and fruits. Last time I checked they also have animal farms. They export tuna to the world.

There are said to be many islands but 3 are populated. All travel vloggers that I've seen tell that it's very expensive and that there is an obvious lack of hospitality towards one group of quests while the ones there in abundance are welcome and treated with preference, there are some nightmare airport stories and the reservation issue may be sc@m. That's very violating and dangerous. Great that you made friends, found accomodations and got to enjoy yourself. There are a few countries with similarly beautiful beaches that offer Great Bucket List Vibes.
