I just found out about your channel, and I'm so glad I found it. This video has really helped me as a girlfriend who just started dating my schizophrenic man about a month and a half ago. The love we both felt for each other so quickly, makes me want to be here to stay and support him in any way I can. He feels so much safer with me than he does anyone else especially when he experienced his first episode for me. I seem to be able to help him stay stable when I'm with him through it

Thats the one thing people with your issue are missing the trust that they are being loved and missed and cared for. This was a very informative, genuine answers to the inside of mental illness issues between you two darling people as a couple. Would like to have this openness part of our nations therapy. My father and brother both had bi-polar. They were both wonderful. My dad didn't have as many meditions and horribly gave him EST. My brother had medications like lithium. Love you two, Janet

Thank you for sharing. I have 2 sets of twin sisters, a son all have paranoia schizophrenia. And it’s been really hard for me that don’t have these symptoms. I’ve taken care of my son until he was 28 and he decided not to want to move with me to another county. He promised he would take his meds everyday. But realized I made a mistake. My son now is 31 and is inc incarcerated, and the judge would not give him any medication’s until after one year. I could not imagine what he was going through. I have two sets of twin sisters. They also have paranoia schizophrenia, one that I take care of right now to this day, but the others rather not want my help. It’s been very hard for me. My sister doesn’t want to go out at all or go to any kind of centers. Well, I’m glad and inspired about your story

I can only imagine... my father was schizophrenic, but never on medication for it, though he should have been. I think it's cruelty that a judge wouldn't allow your son to take medication to help his mental disorder. It's an actual medical diagnosis, and it went untreated because of some bs judge? If he's still not able to get his meds, please speak with an attorney about this. He deserves his meds, and shouldn't be suffering because he's unmedicated. I wish you, your sisters, and your son all the best.

A lot of people have a hard time with having conversations with people. I think honesty is always the best policy when it comes to explaining to people what your difficulties might be … it weeds people out who you don’t want to associate with any way. The older l get the more l realize more people have some kind of issues than people who don’t. They obviously vary in severity but most of us have something weather it’s more serious mental health issues, health issues, trauma, depression, anxiety, addiction, other kinds of things like autism, etc. I very much relate as far as having a hard time talking to and relating to people. I had very extreme social anxiety when l was younger. The only thing that helped was being with someone who understood that and didn’t expect me to be super social when it came to their friends and family and didn’t mind that l kind of never left their side in those situations for the first few years until l was slowly able to come out of my shell and be comfortable. And the second thing that changed it was having our son who is autistic. Once I became a parent and my focus shifted, a lot of those anxieties went away.

Your biggest weapon againist them is putting on the whole armor of God. Read God's words and call out to him and jesus name. I'm dying inside. Almost 7 weeks ago my (former) fiancee began having runaway delusions that destroyed her image of and her feelings for me. Delusions flipped like a lightswitch and destroyer our future together. Im hoping onto the tiniest hope that i can get back into her life. She won't even let me talk to her right now. 46 Days of this. It's going to literally end up killing me. She has NO one in this world, no parents, siblings or friends. It was just me and her. I have schizoaffective disorder and my friend discovered that the ketogenic diet does wonders to the brain of someone with mental illness such as schizophrenia. I heard of people with the illness having less hallucinations and just better overall mental function. It has done wonders for me. Might be something to look into and may work for you guys.

I do keto. My (former) fiancee has schizophrenia. 6 weeks ago her delusions destroyed our future together. I'm trying to hold onto the tiniest bit of hope things can get back to okay. I care about her so much and I know she needs help. I'd love to try keto with her but she's fortunate to be skinny and and have an incredible metabolism. A diet of next-to-no carbs might make her skin and bones. But the brain benefit.... could be good. I just need to not give up on my life and keep trying to get back in her life 😢😢😢

@@ZooomaCW i started adding carbs to my diet, such as more bread and I noticed how susceptible my mind is to other people. At work I feel like everyone is talking about me, so I just ignore that and continue to just do my job. I ultimately know that God is in control of everything, so if you love God, I’m certain that you can pray about it and hopefully unite again. Remember, what God brought together, don’t let anyone separate unless due to sexual immorality such as cheating.

Thank you for sharing. Praying for you both. There's healing, peace and strength in Jesus Christ. He is the chain breaker and can heal mental health illnesses - so many Testimonies of people being freed. The Lord delivered me from anxiety and a driving phobia (which I tried everything in my own strength to overcome, but couldn't do it in my own strength- but with God anything is possible). Jesus saved me back in 2021 (before that I was an Atheist/ in New Age Spirituality) and I was delivered from that anxiety and driving phobia! I now love driving! All Praise to the Lord!
