I'm 65 and I'm just getting started with art and have actually sold about a dozen so far. It's given me a whole new purpose. I guess it's never too late. You did at 20 what I wanted to do at 20, but I never moved to L.A. and yes, I'm sorry I didn't but it's okay. But, everyone should pursue their dreams, ya only live once.

One friend has six of my drawings in his restaurant in Chicago and a couple of people found it through there. I recently applied to open up an Amazon Marketplace with my designs on t-shirts, canvas bags, and things like that so hopefully that will be approved.

I'm really happy for you. You'll succeed no matter where you are. I moved here when I just turned 19. I had a similar kind of story as you. Success, drought and then adjustment. I would never live anywhere else expect here. My life is here. Showbusiness isn't the same as when I first moved here. Maybe things would be different if I were young today, I don't know. All I know is that like you, I had to make a decision at one point of my life and I chose to stay. Have I fulfilled my dream? No, but I achieved much more than most. Money ? Famous people? Opportunity ? Achievement ? Yes, but that isn't the important part. It's what is in your soul. You seem to have that. You're a smart guy and I wish you all the best ! Jordan brought old timey movies back into my life. I used to fall asleep on my grandmothers lap while she watched old films and ate potato chips. These are some of my fondest memories, on the couch with my grandma. Grandad would always retire early to bed with a book, unless we were watching John Wayne or similar 🤠

I'm a die-hard New Yorker, but I never forgot my visit to LA in the '90's. I too instantly felt at home. I loved the dry air with that constant ocean breeze. I felt so good. The eclectic look of the place, the lush fauna, and sights that I saw on TV and movies all my life made it so exciting. I really didn't want to fly back east! @@EagleRockers I don't think that is why, from what I have read, Hollywood has been going to hell for a long time. And like Hollywood Saint said, he or she lives in the heart of the city and it is a ghost town.

@@cherylann1962 I have lived Hollywood adjacent for over 60 years. Hollywood is many things: part tourist trap, part neighborhood of greater Los Angeles and very much a manufactured fairy tale. When the pandemic is over, it will come alive again. 2019 saw 48 million tourists visit the area. They've said Hollywood was going to hell numerous times over the years and it really never has. Hollywood is part of the American dream.

I could tell in a couple places you were a little emotional. Not sure if anyone else caught it. I love what you do. I love how you got started. I love you didn’t give up. I love your ethics and morals. You were raised right. Probably the last generation that was raised right. Hard work and determination pays off.
