Excellent video Ian, I love the way you show your mistakes and don't blag it. Can't wait for the rest of the series. 👍

Thanks again Smerd1, we all make mistakes, no point in trying to hide them, we just need to learn from them

Hi Ian i did my fork seals back in May, it was a little strange really i took my bike for the MOT returned and it was only hours later i noticed my right fork leg was leaking loads of oil, obviously it must have been good for the MOT then give up just after, well done...

I've had it happen just before an MOT 😩 I'm hoping this one holds as the one I fitted 10 years ago failed not long after, but this one this one is a genuine seal so I've got my fingers and toes crossed

Great video as normal, and as it was 4.30am I had not noticed your error but to be fare I very much doubt I would have noticed it at all, thanks for clarifying the error. What's next for the build Ian?

Thanks Adam, I only noticed when I was editing the video, I then checked the workshop manual and Doh! I think the next bit will be rebuilding the brakes or the carbs, see what I decide to do first!

How much oil you need for this fork?
@randomrides6 жыл бұрын
That looked easy enough though I'd mix up the order of all those pesky washers and spacers etc. Can you put longer springs in to increase the height of the front end?
