The video didn't show removal of metal from the pressure plate mounting surface. The same amount of metal must be removed from this surface as is removed from the flywheel face, or clamping pressure is greatly reduced. Also, there is a specific installed finger height of the pressure plate. Just making them level is not enough.

They did not show the procedure but you can clearly see that it was done at 7:10. I'm sure these guys have been doing it long enough that they have well developed "eyechrometers".

The amount of metal removed from the flywheel face would not affect clamping pressure. The amount removed from the pressure plate would be insignificant. The thickness of the clutch plate determines pressure. Once it wears beyond a certain point it starts to slip.

The amount you take off the flywheel face,must be taken off the standoffs. The face of the flywheel must fe in line with the mounting flange. Very poor job.
