Riot killed the game to me. I have played more than 6000 hours but when they removed the chests I had enough. I played for collecting the skins while I am playing different champs and that was the only reason I played other champs beside my main. For me the first thing each split was to farm the masterwork chest. Their hunger for money will make the players leave this game. While it's a great game, with some issues but still great. I hate riot games.

The Champions Capsule was actually a Pretty nice thing. When I started League in 2011, it took me allmost 5 Years to get all the Champions. That Was because you had to buy Runes back then with the Influence Points (Blue Essences Callas today). When they changed the Runesystem, i got alot back, i mean a really large amount, i still got Blue Essences left to buy Champs. When my Wife started to play, she had all Champs in 9 Months! She started to play at 2022. They really should give all the Champs for free and Not for sale, because the amount of Champs available now is to much, and if you want to learn how every champ works, can feel unrewarding and will took alot of time and effort

I have been buying every single battle pass (Except Faker Ahri one, to protest about the absurd price) and this is the second pass i am not buying. The skins are garbage, not even a new recall animation, the rewards are much much less than in previous passes, and also... even i own a lot of skins, i enjoy the feeling of getting new skins shards. So what is left in this game? To suffer from the akward match making and umbalanced teams, and waste 30 minutes of your life getting stress about a game. Not going back if they dont fix anything. (And i am not talking only about blue essences)

Yep to all of this. I wanted to come back to League because, well.. the Arcane effect is real. The season cinematic was perfect, (FINALLY) a map change, new objectives - I was in. Logged in, played a few co-op games to try and do the quests, got barely anywhere in the pass despite finishing the weekly quests and lost interest immediately. Found out they removed free chests later. So anyway, Smite 2 is available now so let's try that.

Well not greedy, they just fcked up very much. Many says that Arcane S2 was commecial failure and i don't see reasons why it shouldn't be. Fortishe makes good graphics, but it was very expensive, as said by somebody in Riot - 1 series cost like entire season of Ladybug... @HashChamp You never feel any consequences for losing early game, there is always room to make a comeback. You could also not completely focus on csing and that would be okay. But you could also focus on csing and get fed enough to reach full build quickly. It is simply a heavenly gamemode for casual players who don't want to get completely stomped by sweatlords. And it's nice to see that most of the sweaty players are in draft pick over swiftpick anyways. This has really divided the community as it should be, and league has never been more enjoyable. I especially like that the nexus turrets also respawn at some point. I am not sure if the nexus turret respawning is also in ranked and draft because i didn't play either of them in this season so far, but I feel that as well is a welcome change because there is nothing more tilting and stressful than being scared of being backdoored and not having a chance once 3 inhibs are open. Overall, I like the changes this season offered. And that's a first from me in many years

Didn’t expected anything else by RITO. I finally managed after over 12 years to uninstall League in December and completely switched to SUPERVIVE!🎖️ Better ranked system, better controls, less toxic, way better graphics through UE, very much bigger and varied map, less frustrating and a lot of more fun! I recommend every League player to at least try SuperVive and upgrade your own quality of life🏆😁

I have 2 accounts with over 300k blue essence with all champions. I never buy a champion, and I also waited until I got a champion shard. In the last 3 years, I only purchased 2 skins on one account. I used to spend money, I stopped because I realized the champions I play get nerfed or rework making them no fun and champions that get skins are flavor of the month from lcs or buffed. Which most likely will be nerfed soon. So there is no point in playing said champion anyway. Especially the champion go from 52% wr to 40% wr with no love for a season or 2.

The only part I fully disagree with the video is the "I give credit to Riot for acknowledging this". Imo we must not give credit for any of the changes on dumb decisions Riot made during the change of the season. Riot just needs to listen to their player base and just say a "sorry" for these ridiculously unaccepted changes and only that. Overwatch situation is not valid in this case, Overwatch 1 was a 60$ game and they didnt plan on changing the game status into a free one, so we got alot of skins for free, but when ov1 popularity went down bc there was alot of free games as competition, they needed to turn f2p but they still needed income, so new skins are only avaible for money or trough battlepass which is just more worth it than buying singular skins, u can still get old or new (From overwatch2) skins that were with us longer trough credits which are given to u for free, and its alot of skins actually.

League in Brazil is even worse, There was an popular video of a content creator that suffered from racism and even after contacting riot and reporting the user, they are still playing the game normaly, riot cares more about people cheating in their game than real crime happening on their chat. The international championship here was desconstructed to be merged with the latino and north american ones, causing creators that talked about it(one of the most viewed contents here lol), to lose public. Another creator that make videos about league of legends patch notes made a video that creating content for league didn't make money such as a registered job here. And we were also impacted by the same problems that you talk about in the video! League already lose one fourth of the players here, they are becoming greedier than Genshin Impact at that point.

Not only did they removed the hextechs, but also completely butchered blue essence gain, I guess it could work as a deterrent for manually leveling up smurf accounts, BUT the real PROBLEM is from the AUTOMATIC leveling up of smurf accounts. So the whales, who are the only ones willing to spend real money on a league of legends account will be the only ones who will be willing to pay RP for champions, it's actually genius.

I dont know what other people feel about the update. but for me, it felt like a scam, I've stopped playing the game since the update beacuse the removal of the chest and champion capsule makes it meaningless to grind for the game as if Riot is making League into a second Valorant ( That game doesn't have anything except for overpriced skins and competitive game mode ). Before the update, i was buying the battle pass and skins frequently but after the update, everything feels like a scam tbh. I just started playin lol again. I was active mostly in s6-s9. Now its a fkin mess. The client and the game too. I cant even find my loot without this video. I earnd a lot of S and get nothing. Its not rewarding to play lol anymore. I cant spam my fkin lvl 7 Kat badge cuz now my Kat is way more than lvl7. I dunno how the new jg works and i cant even find any video what tells me wtf is going on. For a returner player, its a mess, a chaos. It used to be a fun game with friends. And now what? Kayle coming to ur base, destroy 1 nexus turret. Only one!!! Not two. And than destroying ur nexus, while u still have one nexus turret in full “hp”. Like wtf. In my head all i can hear is: FAKEEER WHAT WAS THAT!!

On one hand, Riot is factually evil and greedy. On the other hand, anyone that spends 20+ dollars on a single piece of digital cosmetic cannot be all alright in the head. Also, this has been a recurring problem for years that has only escalate in the sense that Riot has constantly made terrible decisions and betrayed its customers time and time again, uet there is no actual backlash or consequences. And here is were I'm gonna sound harsh or unreasonable to many, but a large part of the problem is the players themselves. By still continuing to support the game, you also condone the shady practices. The game itself also depends on addiction and gambling. The literal most reasonable thing to do is to delete/abandon the game and now is one of the best times to do it because there are more than enough amazing games out there to fill that dopamine void (although it's not like a game needs to try too hard to be better than League).
