The RV industry as a whole needs to wake up and change. It is amazing to me what has taken place in this industry. Education on the customers part is crucial to making the industry accountable. I have been preparing for retirement for 18 months and been doing my research and I have learned so much because of your channel and others. I have also learned about influencers and am now able to discern good information from a sales pitch. I appreciate your channel and when I am closer to purchasing will be buying your courses. I have already taken the free ones and they are invaluable to me. Thank you and keep it coming.

Just bought a new RV that I am pretty happy with and while I had to compromise on the counter-tops, (thermofoil) I go into it knowing that I will eventually replace the counters which is not a big deal for me. However, thanks to you I did not buy an improperly plumbed unit. I tried to tell a couple of people why they should not buy that manufacturer and they all seemed to look at me sideways like I was an idiot. They wanted the options and that manufacturer does have “the options” which keep people buying. I told them to watch your KZbin channel before making a purchase they might regret and was basically told to mind my own business. I was also the only person on the lot that was up on the roofs and under the units. If a sales person won’t let you on top of a unit that has a ladder I would run from that dealer. Thank you for helping me make an informed decision and perhaps some day we won’t have to make any compromises on quality when shopping for an RV.

Simple, honest and direct. This scares companies who are just in it for the money and not customer loyalty. A company who cares about the future of their products and services welcomes critical reviews (both positive and negative). This is the best way to ensure longevity in the market place. Keep up the good work and stay with the integrity that you have, it is needed and seldom seen. Thanks…

Grand design kicking themselves because they messed with a 'small' 30k channel, Paving New Paths that ended up exposing how they control social media post by being admins of groups. Went so bad for them, they changed warranty terms for owners and 2nd owners. So now the manufacturers are definitely paying more attention to the smaller channels. Never did get this answer I've asked on various channels. If insurance wasn't covering RV frame failures over 'regular use' (as in the case of paving new paths), then how was GD able to get the RV covered when insurance went through their service centers? What were they saying to the insurance companies and how was that effecting consumer insurance rates? Keep your integrity and I'll keep liking and commenting to support your channel.

I much appreciate this video. As I am currently heading to the NRVTA and then plan to begin a Custom Solar Installing business and a Mobile Repair service, this gave me some great thoughts to consider as I attempt to build my KZbin channel around these very topics. Thank you. As a small business owner of many, many decades, this put into perspective some ideas I hadn't considered as a "content creator" who is trying to build a business. On my first channel, I have been gifted some pretty great products for which I installed and reviewed. I like your thinking related to being careful in doing so. Jacob great job I really appreciate your hard work. It does not surprise me that some RV mfg. have a dislike for you. If they were honest, with integrity and accountability, they would improve on there quality like automobile manufactures did back in the 70's. I will say I understand the frustration from the company side too about you not taking phone calls. I get the whole "off the record" dilemma, but when it comes to effective communication, written text is limited and more difficult to have constructive dialogue. Thank you for your unbiased information. I have been full-timing in my 38 foot 5th wheel for 9 years. I am still learning what problems to look out for. Some issues i have fixed myself and others I will hire people with more expertise. I don't think that you have to name any particular brands, we should assume any RV has the potential for having issues straight from the factory. I think that some people just want you to tell them that this or that manufacturer makes perfect RV's, so they don't have to do anything on their side. Spoiler alert! No RV is perfect!

Bravo. Hold those principles. The RV industry is long overdue for a wakeup. It's an old name, but I trust Consumer Reports for much the same reasons: they are strictly non-commercial, carry no advertising, and review products purchased through retail channels. They get mocked for being conservative, and sometimes their judgement is off, but they are never corrupted by hidden motivations. I only wish they would review RVs.

I inherited an older RV. I bow have been through every square inch of it and fixed or updated issues over time. We are getting ready to purchase a new or slightly used one. I enjoy your reviews and insight to the goods and bads of each RV. You would think that coming from expert opinion of a perdon that has to fix them. The manufacturer would say, we need to look at that, maybe slow down and produce a better product. I have learned that if we buy from most dealships especially a local one. No other repait places will touch them. So if we buy there because, then i have to be ready to fix it myself. Thay sucks ! Keep the videos coming.

Different manufacturers. Lately we have seen so many reviews on ALL 3 that is shockingly trash. We aren't giving our hard earned money to any brand just to get ripped off. The manufacturers are mad because they can no longer build crap and stick their customers. They'll either straighten up and start standing behind the quality of their RVs or they'll watch their company turn to dust. These types of videos are the Greatest thing that's happening to the RV industry. Get to together manufacturers or it's going to interesting to watch the race to the bottom of the crap pile.

I know what you meant, but perhaps you don’t know what they meant. Also taking a tour is not a single selected unit and wine and dine. You literally see them manufacturing a line of units unscripted. There is lots you can see about their construction that way that you will never see in a nondestructive inspection. Both good and bad. As such it’s choosing to not have that knowledge. Just my opinion.
