Amazing the amount of important insights Danny Maude brings to golfers, that you can spend years NOT getting from so many other so-called "experts." Keep up the good work Danny, I'm sure it is appreciated by thousands of your viewers, including seniors like me and younger players as well!

Particularly liked the first tip about allowing the body to move freely in the back swing. Afters years of teaching about having a straight right foot and creating tension through not allowing the hips to turn, this is a breath of fresh air! Thanks.

As a Sr golfer that plays several times a week I really appreciated the driving tips. As I’ve aged (63) It seems that my iron distances have not lost as much yardage as my driver. I’ll implement the driver tips today. On a sidenote I really appreciate Danny’s method of teaching and his easy-going demeanor along with the emphasis on the visual tips.

As a 77yr old recently taken up the game again after 25 yes I am finding the instructions/ tips easier to understand because they referring to natural movements which then affect the turn of the body the relationship of body to ball placement and the strike of the club face to ball. Many thanks I just feel so eager to get out on the practice fairway to actually see the difference in not only my game but my body.

I took these tips along with others to the driving range just yesterday. I'm 70 and I had young guys watching me hit my Ping 410 Plus driver up the fence at about 250 yds. so close to 275 with roll out BTW...with cold range balls not ProV1's. Danny, you never fail to improve all aspects of my game.

Danny, I wish I had found your channel before I spent thousands of $$$ for lessons. These are so common sense and they work! Thanks Danny I am 75 and had long since given up using my driver, favouring my three wood. Since trying these tips hey presto! ,my confidence is returning.My left foot back with the toe out and more turn, lifts my left heel naturally. I am still being a bit erratic when trying to keep my elbows in tighter to stop chicken winging, but definitely with more practice am improving. Trying not to swing to hard works for me. Best driver video I have ever seen after years of watching golf videos. Every element all the way to the last on release spoke to me and explained to me why, as a 55 year old, I’ve occasionally hit my drives 270 yards with ease, then go back to hitting my drives my usual 190-220 yards. I will be using Danny’s HELICOPTER and RIGHT ARM ONLY drills along with the insights from this video to hit farther than I ever did when younger.

Here in the US, early morning watching those chaps normally in Canada on tv, I realize how tight knit this teaching community is. My release is definitely that of a senior because I am protecting my back by not following thru like I’m supposed to do. I will be trying the simple follow thru laser butt drill. Side note I just changed my swing path from attempting draws to hitting a fade which is much easier to hit and utilize the center of the clubface. Good results initially. I can’t comment on Andy and Piers channel as I’ve reduced my online watching to basically you. You seem to speak to my problems really well. Cheers, stay safe, someday I may again travel to see my daughter in the UK and book a lesson. I’ll start saving my pennies.
@PauloG1004 жыл бұрын
it's interesting that you say the fade is easier to hit because I find the opposite. I can more or draw the ball as much or as little as I like, but really struggle with a controlled fade (I can slice the ball just fine! :)
