Feels like anytime I'm not actually participating in something, like when I'm riding my bike to class etc. I just replay thoughts and plans over and over in my head

What type are you? Just curious, I relate to that a lot and I've been questioning my type.

@@n1gtwhisper158 Thank you, I'm pretty sure I'm an INTP but I keep doubting it and have been reading and watching many videos about it

@LK-jg1go yeah I would specifically look at all the cognitive functions stuff out there it really breaks down some distinguishing traits that you should be able to tell what your type is

Typing based on Cognitive functions is more accurate. You might have high Ni even as an intp or something.

Ni people usually reflect on meanings, not specific events

This is phenomenal. Incredibly accurate, thanks for sharing! The Ni mashing up of memories drives me nuts, absolutely nuts.

That, Skimmerlit, is the most brilliant differentiation of Ni and Si that I have ever heard. Thank you!

This is why I go to my INTP sister about these details in the past that I forgot. Although it seems like she's the only one besides our father that has Si lol and I sometimes forget what I did yesterday and if I took all my medications 😅😂

😂 I forget if I took my medicine today! It’s legit.

Stumbled upon your channel in a 12h layover at Hong Kong airport. Going through your mbti vids at double speed with a glass of red smiling to myself creepingly. Thanks!

As an INTP I find Si to be the most reliable function when it comes to subjectivity, more so than any other introverted function. Hence the complicated nature of it, even for my Ti . The Si function looks a lot like intuition. "Body intuition", dare I say that? It is very strange in the early years, but in maturity it helps us a lot, it is a great comfort and relief. Okay, when a Ni concludes about being treated like shit it may have disproved what I said about subjectivity, but look closer. It's a generalization, vague and that went beyond the "victimized" person. Ah, yes, not forgetting the details can turn into resentment, which gives a rather bitter subjective character that makes my Fe even more inferior and makes me interested only in theories and things. Lastly and most importantly, the f*** button is an efficient self-preservation mechanism that very few types will understand (unlucky for them lol) and which Ne has when stress is high.

Every word you said is just fit so well in every sense.
This was pretty good and I agree with the Ni memory thing. I don’t remember shit unless it had such an incredible sensation that I can’t not remember it. I watched a video where it said that Ni types look at past events like water dripping into a bucket of water. It all blends together. There’s some truth to this. I also think that Si-Te make the world go around. I also hypothesize there are certain sports that are Si dominant.. such as the repetition sports… golf? And Se would be for reaction based sports like Tennis.

Even as a toddler, I told myself I'd remember just about everything. It turned out to be true. My friends tell me things that they themselves cannot even remember, after a period of time. Also, I can remember back to when I was an arm baby. Being a baby was sort of a pain in the ass, because I couldn't really do much besides piss in people's faces (on purpose) when they went to change my diaper/bathe me.

Great video. I'd just like to point out that you did remember the rental car. It just took a certain cue. The memories were still stored, just un-accessed until something reminded you of it. I think as one gets older they might notice this more.

i'd like to hear your take on the Ti Si loop and how to get rid of it
@Skimmerlit3 ай бұрын
Step 1: Recognize you're in the loop. This can be harder than it sounds. Step 2: Engage your Ne and Fe. Be spontaneous, go places you don't go, do things you don't do, and think things you don't think and then interact with people. Step 3: Repeat Step 2 until you realize you're back on the ground floor, taking actions, and becoming somebody different. Don't expect the change to happen immediately or to feel good: You entered the loop for good reason. Different is bad and people are bad, but stagnation is worse. Grow until you naturally hole up again and then repeat the steps.
