I legitimately hate JJ Abrams. Maybe not as a person, but his choices. I've been watching Star Wars since I was a little kid and he kind of just crushed my heart with TROS. It makes me mad that everything was for this.

I remember when I first saw Force Awakens in theaters and the opening scene with Rey encapsulated everything that was "Star Wars." Zero dialogue, awesome music, nice settings, showing who Rey was and her daily routine for years was absolutely amazing and made me feel like I was watching something substantial in this universe.
