I hate Butlers character. I couldn’t figure out if he was meant to be a hard ass thug detective or just a scum bag and idk what the intention was but he was just a scum bag. Illegal activity all over the place, scum bag husband, scum bag detective. I wanted his character to die in the end so bad. He had nothing redeeming going for him, the scene of him crying over his daughter is far out of the character scope that the movie sets up for you. Like I felt no empathy. It’s the consequences of his actions. Him dying would have also been the consequences of his shady detective work and over zealous vendetta that they never explain outside of he’s LE but the movie tells us he’s more of a gangster than LE so that reasoning doesn’t even make sense

Just a few examples: 20,000 fans, 3,000 men and Dr Grant has dossiers on all of them. 😅 SWAT leader describes last victim, went to school to be a teacher, has a 2 yr old kid, takes care of his elderly parents and was voted teacher of the year 😂 Cooper describes Spencer to Lady Raven: his name is Spencer, he’s 22 and is into sustainable agriculture 😅 The dialogue is high camp-and Hartnett kills the role tongue in cheek and over the the top 😊 we love it!

I will say this, Lucas was certainly a victim. When he is on the lawn with Slater standing over him, just as the camera turns away, you can hear him scream, that's when I realized what Slater was doing to him. Plus he seems really clueless about everything even up until the end. Slaters speech was just his ego asserting control, even to a guy who is clearly in shock by what he sees around him. One of the girls told him "You smell nice", he wore the perfume too.

Lady raven was supposed to be this mega pop star like ariana or taylor swift. But meh, even though her voice is awesome but there isn't any popstar diva from her. Her acting is also mid.
