Beggars and pickpockets on Kenya’s streets are mainly from Tanzania. It is easy for Tanzanians to enter Kenya than Kenyans to enter Tanzania, that is why these people enter Kenya easily. Most Kenyan children are in school and not beggars on the streets. People with disabilities are also get some kind of support so long as they are registered with the disabilities body in Kenya. Nairobi City Council Askaris and other counties need to round up these folks and send them back to Tanzania. These are the people harassing visitors on Kenyan streets and Kenya gets a bad reputation fir crimes committed by folks from neighbouring countries. Kenyans should also start reporting about children not in school to the authorities. Tanzania has always been anti vaccine…that is why they are having these disability issues. There leaders need to educate and e more accepting of vaccines.

Even in Mombasa, there are so many Tanzanian disabled people begging on the streets from town to Mtwapa. They are strategically placed . It's a cartel and someone in the ads benefiting . And what amazes me is the govt is less concerned

Where is the minister or mp for disability in Kenya if they did their job then this will not be happening it's a shame both to the two countries how can children with disabilities being trafficked to this country yet their country of base is not aware it's a shame to humanity how does it hit home and you expect to be treated better outside . Tanzania should do better than this that is an alarming number of disable children coming out of the country.

Tanzania has an Islamic culture of marrying first cousins, in the mutation effects of inbreeding, you tend to have such kind of results more often. Tabia mbaya sana. Hawafai kuZoea, the reason Somalis are leading in the number of physically challenged persons.

@@ismailkimani7553 Maasai has a very good point actually. The UK has been facing the same issue of inbred children within the Pakistani community there for many years and it has been putting a strain on their social and health systems. There seem to be 2 issues in 1: One is birthing more children than one can manage, and the second is having those children among genetically related people. It's also interesting how Islam is a common factor here.

@@maasaimaasai2895 the Masai issue has absolutely nothing to do with Islam, infarct the Muslims amongst the Masai just minimal, it's poor preventative healthcare interventions given the remote locations of the community and the vast land mass they occupy.

Me neither. Adult or child, no one gets a single coin from me because all you're doing is enabling them further. If they're kids, they should be in school. If they're adults, they have enough energy and intelligence to get a decent source of income despite your handicap.
