Time Lord is still a reluctant, tentative shooter On balance the Celts gave up nothing and gained everything. No disrespect intended toward Smart or RW3....now Brogdon in the other hand I don't really care. At some point we are gonna need a solid combo off the bench. I don't see our glaring need as for bigs but for combo ball handler guard.

That’s a good point but it’s much more then that prozingez can literally step almost to the logo and be a threat that’s where the spacing starts for tatum and brown KP can literally be a threat on the floor everywhere it makes it impossible to double tatum or brown everybody got a respectful jumper in the starting 5 and I love timelord but he was a absolute cone on offense

Here’s how I look at it, they easily have the best starting five with a luxury of having Al on the bench but… the depth past that drops off significantly for reliable two way players. This team can go the distance and win a chip as long as none of the starters go down with injury before or in the playoffs.

KP looks like the anchor of this team now. As a Bucks fan this kind of scares me because I know how important Brook Lopez is with us doing similar things for years. Also as a Bucks fan thus is encouraging because if Giannis can somehow watch video like this and do something similar... it would be amazing. Regardless its looking like the Celtics should win it all this year. The Bucks look like they may be a year or so away.

Celtics are unstoppable. Timelord, Smart,Grant, Horford are legit black holes on offense and are not threats to attack off the dribble. They could only spot up shoot so opposing teams could double Jaylen and Tatum and have a third shadow defender in teh paint and live with the results. Now you simply can't do that because Jrue and Dwhite can both attack the rim and either pass or finish and Porzingis can do the same and can score from anywhere on the court. Tatum and Jaylen have more space then ever before

Gilbert Arenas said it and i had to agree on his take: Outside of JT & JB: Timelord, Smart,Grant & Horford were not better than the Miami Heat rotational players on offense and thats why they lost. And Celtics barely sacrificed defense by trading Timelord, Smart & Grant.

I don't think the bench has gotten much worse if worse at all. Now we have Al off the bench instead of starting, most nights, and new pick ups like Brisset, Banton, and Walsh who haven't had much chance to shine but I think could provide solid minutes if we get them comfortable in our system thruout the season. While also keeping most of our big time bench players like Pritchard, Kornet and Hauser. I think the bench is solid.

What makes this team so dangerous is not just the talent alone. It's the fit. They are like a mechanical watch with well-oiled gears moving accurately on the court. They complement each other well. The key I see this year is that everything got easier because we have 6 players that can attack and if not guarded can go get 30. On top of that we have guys on the 2nd unit that can play vital minutes and have room to grow. This takes a lot of pressure off of the J’s, and allows everyone to not have to work as hard

Also I think teams as of right now that can give the Celtics a run for their money are Denver of course, and actually not the Bucks (and this could change, but it looks like a long process to work out because Giannis has to change his entire game on offense, and Dame is going through a divorce, not to mention new coach, defining roles), but I'd say the 76ers. They look really really really good. Embiid is basically doing Jokic things, Tyrese Maxey looks like a perennial all-star, and they just got a crap ton of depth after they got rid of the cancer known as Harden. That too is a scary, hungry team.

Lmao zero chance he gained 12 lbs of muscle over the summer. He may have gained 12 lbs but not of lean muscle. Unless he’s juicing that ain’t possible for a guy with his prior advance level of training to gain.

@@mentalprograming5365Stop pretending like this is a real argument when it's the same amount of championships Milwaukee has won in the last 25 years. If that logic applies to one, it applies to both. Luckily, it's horseshit in either case.

They fixed a lot of the problems they've had in the playoffs: primarily that their offense was far too reliant on Tatum and Brown creating in isolation. They had minimal shot creation outside of those two guys and they virtually always had at least 1 guy in the floor that opposing defenses could ignore and help off of. Neither of those are true anymore. Holiday is much better offensive player than Smart and Porzingis is a massive offensive upgrade over Williams.
