Top 3 lessons to be learned by most people after these finals: 1. this is a TEAM sport. its not always about heliocentric stars. you can win another way. 2. defense actually matters. how much you prevent the opponent from scoring is as valuable as how many points you score or create for others. meaning, pay attention to stuff like net rating. 3. pay attention to the numbers and not the names in front of the numbers. people were quick to dismiss the trends and the numbers simply because it had the words "celtics" or any of the celtics players names in front of them. 1 example, jrue holiday had a 50-40-90 series but will people care? nope. because its jrue holiday. because hes a celtic. but if its someone like KY who does it, everyone's so quick to anoint him. doubt the celtics again at your own risk. this is a TEAM run by smart people.

Everyone on the Celtics can shoot and defend. Theres legit no flaws on their roster LOL. U can’t pick on and target anyone on defense, hell even Pritchard clamped Luka at times and they will kill u offensively with their shooting. Dont see any east team beating them next year they might repeat lol. Bucks and Knicks are good but I don’t think they’re good enough to beat Boston in a 7 game series

the only reason this team isn't regarded as one of the best of all time is cus of competition (bogus arguement, they would've ran through the league healthy or not) but I believe my celtics can go back to back against healthy comp to prove they are a top 10 team of all time who stopping them? The Jay's keep getting better (Tatum driving and playmaking is becoming elite and JB is finally making the right decisions and driving instead of settling for jumpers) Sam Hauser looked like a legit defender and he might become a decent perimeter defender, couple that with snipes from 3 and u got a fantastic role player the only issue is Al Horford Health as he ages, but I think the Celtics can make a trade where they give up 2-3 FRP and Al for Myles turner, who says no?

Guys, so basic really. First, Celtics have 4 ELITE playmakers - more than any NBA team - JT, JB, Jdrue and White. These guys can put the ball on the floor, create their shots or winning plays. Imagine with all four on the floor. Or they are substitutable with one another - meaning one or two can rest without the offense dipping. More winning plays means higher scores. Second, the Celtics' first 8 rotational guys can shoot 3's at a collective average of 35%. Finally, they have 2 all NBA defensive guys, and maybe 3 - Brown included, who can be on the floor together. NO OTHER TEAM has these assets, credentials! That is why Boston topped the regular season by a mile and went on!
@hungo7720Ай бұрын
The NBA was rigged when they allowed the Celtics to acquire Jrue Holiday which was instrumental in their NBA title. 5 two-way players and impeccable 3-point shooters really made them unguardable.

@CapsFanАй бұрын
Cope, buddy. It wasn’t rigged when they allowed LeBron and Bosh to go to Miami though, right?
@RafaelSang-tq8urАй бұрын
Any team can make trades and sign free agents, nothing is rigged. As a GM , his job is to identify the right talent. Philly and Lakers passed on both JB and JT by taking Fultz, Simmons, Ingram and Ball respectively, so the question is how those 4 are turning out? Milwaukee was not forced to trade Jrue, and the Lakers do not need their field GM/player coach LeBron. Lakers have too many GMs and coaches. Not every player can be player coach. The only successful player coach in history is the Legendary Bill Russell. His rings speak for themselves.
